Analysis of Cloud Computing from Different Perspectives IntroductionIn recent years, with the fast development of science and technology, many new information technologies have been diversified, and terms like “cloud computing” or “big data” begin to appear in many screens around people, which is a new development of information technology that I find interested to me. As for the concept of the cloud computing, there are almost one hundred versions in the world, and the most popular and accepted one is defined by America’s NNIST: Cloud computing is a model for enabling ubiquitous, convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction (Mell, 2017, p.15). To be simplified, cloud computing is a style of computing in which dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources are provided as a service over the Internet. Cloud computing is an interesting development of information technology and will arouse new round of reformation for the global enterprises. Therefore, this will try to analyze the potential benefits of cloud computing and evaluate the legal, ethical, social and security concerns of cloud computing. Potential Benefits Cloud computing, as a new important development of the information technology, has been considered as a crucial part to support the application of informatization and creativity of business mode. Its development of technology and industry as well as its popularity has been of great significance to improve the economy and social management in the future. Cloud computing can revalue information and thus provide extra value of the information for enterprises. Cloud computing is a good platform to memorize and process large-scale information, so it can produce new value of the information with the fast accumulation of data (Erl and Puttini, 2017, p.51). Nowadays, the fast development of science and technology not only provides convenience of life for people, but also speeds up the informatization of telegram industry and development of information communication technology, which produces large amount of data every day. If no cloud computing, the data will be ignored without doubt, while cloud computing makes operators realize the importance of these data and even makes them manage the consumption behaviors by the use of cloud computing(Erl and Puttini, 2017, p.41). In the system of operation analysis, enterprises use cloud computing to excavate deeply the data of markets, groups, clients, customer services, network, and finance. They hope to find out more scientific and specialized evidence to make decisions and thus turn the decision-made mode from the experience-driven to analysis-driven. Also, financial industry pays attention to the cloud computing and begins to utilize such the new information technology. Many financial enterprises hope to develop new predictive parsing mode by analyzing the large-scale data of clients from all kinds of service delivery channels of the network or mobile communication with the application of cloud computing. Then they will analyze clients’ consumption behaviors more successfully and thus enhance the rate of client transfer. In addition, some internet enterprises can enter the financial field by their own data resources, while the traditional financial enterprises have to change their operation thoughts and reestablish their business structures, both of which are owned to the new development and application of cloud computing. Legal and Ethical Issues Cloud computing is a new and good result of internet development under the fast development of science and technology. It is legal and adapts to the social development, as it is another huge change since the large-scale computer in the 1980s and then the big change of client tip-server. With the support and development of the technology of cloud computing, a new era, Big Data Era, has come into being gradually. Big data has become increasingly important strategic resources. As is known to us, the informatization of society and economy has been evolved more and more maturely. Also, the new development of information technology, such as cloud computing, mobile Internet, Internet of Things, etc., receives large popularity of application, and thus the increase of data becomes faster and faster, as well as types of data present richer and richer, so the value of big data is increasingly obvious, which can be owed to the development of cloud computing (Sen and Vinze, 2017, p.302). Meanwhile, cloud computing can better improve the roles of government and enterprises, as the big data era will come soon in the future resulting from the cloud computing. Under the era, whether the governments, network companies, IT enterprises or individual users will face huge challenges and great new opportunities. With the help and use of big data, enterprises’ ways of making decisions will turn from the mode of “business-driven” into “data-driven”. Without doubt, those enterprises which can really utilize big data and turn the value of data into the productivity will win the strongly competitive advantages and become leaders of the same industry. Security Concerns It is no surprise that new technologies will arouse some people’s questions that whether they are secure for people. Here I want to say that this new kind of technology will bring few security concerns for people, because it is a good platform to process data around and thus better serve people in the daily life. As we all know, there are many other new types of information technology coming into being under the fast development of science and technology, such as the Internet of Things, mobile internet, digital family, socialized network, etc. It is not exaggerated to say that the information technology changes or updates almost every day. Following with the increasing application of new information technology, the big data gradually goes into people’s eyes, or we can say, the next era will be the big data era with the development of cloud technology. As is seen, more and more people begin apply and utilize the big data, holding the idea that the fields of intelligent cities, telecom, financing, e-government, etc., will be the best scopes of the application of big data (Galor and Ghose, 2017, p.191). In recent years, many intelligent cities, telecom and financial industries have given rise to hot applications of big data out of the further development of informatization, and many countries, for example, the USA, or China, have got into high-speed development of big data. How to process and analyze big data successfully has become a crucial support of the integrative development of new information technology, and this can be realized by the new development of information technology, which can provide a storage and computing platform for the vast and diversified data (Galor and Ghose, 2017, p.201). Social Problems Cloud computing will give rise to few social problems. Instead, it can improve the development of the economy and society. With the development of globalization and informatization, the information technology of cloud computing provides a new opportunity for all countries in the world to develop their economy and society. For example, in China, this kind of information technology of cloud computing has been ranked in the high level for development. The cloud computing has been considered as a great important outbreak to promote the process of combination informatization and socialization, which will largely drive Chinese construction of information infrastructure, promote the reformation and update of its traditional industry and speed up the cultivation of new high-tech industries (Kale, 2017, p.89). Cloud computing, the new development of information technology, is of great help to the middle and small-size enterprises by declining their cost, saving IT resources and increasing their flexibility of the operation of informatization. Besides, cloud computing provides the possibility of putting the information technology in the application of key links of research and design, production, circulation and management and promoting the information technology the transfer from the single application into the comprehensive application. And cloud computing can combine all kinds of resources together and, via the virtualization technology, provide standardized services for users as well as services to support industry to enhance its high value-added products and to reduce its production costs under the large network environments. With the fast development of informatization in depth and breath, industries like energy industry, financial industry, manufacturing industry, telecom industry and logistics industry need a new kind of technology to combine the information system and to process and analyze the increasing data to a large extent, and the cloud computing, the new development technology, provides the platform for the requirements and will establish a “cloud” platform with efficiency, dynamic and flexibility (IDC). Conclusion Cloud computing has great potential benefits for the development of society and economy. Also, it seems legal to adapt to the social development and scientific development under the new situation and arouses great backslashes to the society. And those who are still concerned with the securities should feel relaxed with the new development of cloud computing. Instead, with the fast development of cloud computing, many enterprises meet new round of reformation. More enterprises begin to realize the importance to excavate the potential value of cloud computing and big data when facing the rapid extension and continually creative situation of cloud computing and big data. Thus, to utilize cloud computing and big data will be a key part for enterprises to improve their competitive advantages and to occupy the first chance of marketing. Reference Galor, E. and Ghose, A.
