摘要：
语言作为文化的载体，吸收了各个民族的不同文化。世界各民族语言表达颜色的词语多寡不一, 分类各异。在英汉语言中, 颜色词内容丰富,表现力强。由于生活环境、风俗习惯、宗教信仰以及对客观世界的认识有差别,英汉颜色词在英汉民族心目中的联想意义存在共性,也有其个性，所以英汉颜色词的文化内涵异同很大,容易造成理解和表达上的错误。通过查找和略论中外文献资料，参考国内外探讨近况和成果，英语毕业论文，本文结合英汉语言中的经典范例,研讨颜色词在英汉语言中所蕴含的文化内涵与认知异同，集中阐述了英汉颜色词汇所代表的文化内涵和异同，旨在增强人们对不同文化的了解,促进和加强各国人民之间文化的交流与融合。

Abstract:
As the carrier of culture, language absorbs different cultures of each nation. Color words in different peoples of the world varies from different classifications. In the English and Chinese language, color words are rich in content and strong in performance. As the differences of living environment, customs, religious beliefs and understanding of the objective world, the associative meaning of the color words exist common sense in the minds of English and Chinese, but also have its personality. So there are great differences between English and Chinese color words in cultural connotations, which makes it is easy to understand and express mistakenly. By finding foreign literatures and analyzing references of domestic and foreign research status and results, the paper combines classic examples of English and Chinese to explore the cultural connotations and cognitive differences of color words in English and Chinese language, focuses on representing the differences in culture of English and Chinese color terms and aims to enhance people's understanding of different cultures, promote and strengthen communication and integration among peoples’ culture.

Language learning is also the culture learning. The successful realization of cross-cultural communication requires not only a solid grounding in the language, but also being well-versed in the cultural context in the target language. Therefore, if we want to be able to communicate better, we must understand a nation's historical background, cultural values, aesthetic orientation, etc. This modern society is colorful and people live in the world in color. Colors make the world colorful and many color words go into the language with years, at the same time the world of language is more enriched.
