摘要
随着计算机的发展与普及，越来越多的人通过计算机进行工作与交流。世界多样化的发展，人们在计算机辅助交流中也发展出了很多新形式，英语论文网站，比如表情符号，声音，图片，视频等。其中，表情符号是发展最快也是最常见的形式，存在于各种计算机辅助的交流中。如何理解各种各样的表情符号？表情符号在计算机辅助的交流中有什么功能？回答这两个问题能够更好的理解交流双方的交流意图，减少相互之间的误解，保证交流的顺畅性。
本文主要以腾讯QQ上的表情符号为例，利用多模态话语略论措施对表情符号的语用功能进行略论。探讨结果表明，表情符号作为一种社会符号在计算机辅助交流过程中的功能主要可以归纳为三点：指示，调节和对话标记。其中指示影响最为明显，其次是调节和对话标记。除此之外，有的表情符号还兼有指示和调节两种功能。
由于样本和条件的限制，探讨结果并不绝对。对于表情符号的功能，英语论文题目，拥有更大的样本的深入探讨有待开展。

Abstract
As the development of computer, an increasing number of people tend to employ computer as the tool to communicate. Thanks to the diversity of the world, more and more elements such as emoticons, sound, video and image have emerged in computer-mediated communication (CMC). In CMC, more and more people tend to use emoticons when chatting. How to understand the emoticons? What is the function of emoticons in CMC? To answer the questions will help to grasp the intention of the chatters and reduce misunderstanding.
This paper explores the functions of emoticons in CMC, taking the example of Tencent QQ. Multimodal discourse analysis is adopted. The results show that functions emoticons perform in CMC can be categorized into three points: signifier, mediator and discourse marker. The function as signifier is the most prominent and following are the mediator and discourse marker.
As a result of the limitation of the samples and research conditions, the results are not perfect. This paper suggests that more samples be included in further study.
