摘要
中国是一个历史悠久的国家，它在几千年历史中形成的传统文化与西方文化截然不同，这种不同的文化背景也导致了在代沟问题上的异同。
关于代沟问题的存在，中西方学者都从不同角度给出过自己的见解，而本文即将讨论的就是中西方文化异同对代沟问题做造成的作用。本文首先讨论“代沟”一词的来源以及它的发展过程，英语论文，然后对前人的探讨成果进行整理讨论，而后文章从价值观与道德异同，社会联系的差别，社会风俗的差别这几个方面来进行略论，对造成中西方代沟问题不同的异同因素进行阐述，进而得出中西方文化异同对代沟问题所造成的不同作用。
本文对中西方文化异同对代沟问题所造成的作用这一领域进行探讨讨论，结合前人的探讨成果，英语论文题目，并给出自己的见解，可以对如何营造更好的亲子联系这一问题给出更好的建议。

Abstract
China is a country with a long history and the traditional culture which is formed in the past several thousand years is totally different from the western culture, different cultural backgrounds lead to the differences in the issue of generation gap.
For the generation gap, Western and Chinese scholars have given their views from different points. In this thesis, the different effects between western culture and Chinese culture on ‘generation gap’ are discussed. The origin of the term “Generation gap” and its development process is introduced at first. Then the article is continued from the aspects of values and moral difference, differences in social relation and social customs. Through the research on the factors causing the differences between China and Western countries on generation gap, we can know the different effects of western culture and Chinese culture on ‘generation gap’.
This thesis discusses the effects of cultural differences on generation gap, combined with previous research results, and gives personal opinions which will be propitious to create a better parent-child relationship.
