摘要
模糊语言广泛存在于人们日常生活的交际和交流中，同语言的准确性一样，语言的模糊性也是自然语言本身的特征，是一贯以来存在的语言现象。新闻作为传播国内外消息的一种必不可少的媒介，在人们生活中起着非常重要的影响。众所周知，新闻语向来要求准确，简洁，不带个人主观色彩地报道一件事情。这是新闻语言的基本要求。但是，新闻语的这种要求并不是绝对禁止模糊限制语的使用
结合身边的新闻实例，以格莱斯合作准则的视角，略论并发现，在新闻语中，模糊语的使用违反了其中某一准则恰恰是为了更好地遵循另一准则。模糊语言在新闻中的存在不仅重要，新闻还依赖于模糊语言体现所报道事件的真实性，合理性，英语论文范文，使其在各类读者面前更具礼貌性，语言更生动。同时，模糊限制语的使用让新闻报道更加符合大众的思维理解方式，但前提是必须合理恰当地使用模糊限制语。通过对新闻中的模糊限制语的语用功能略论，促使新闻记者和读者的这种非面对面交流变得流畅，减少误会，英语论文网站，达到交际成功的目的。

Abstract
Fuzziness of language is one of essential feature of natural language. The concept is similar to the precision of language. Fuzzy expressions are of high frequency in daily communication and social intercourse. News, as the mass media, plays a more and more important role in people’s daily life. Basically, as the language used in news, the words is required to be accurate, brief and objective. However, the special requirement to journalistic words does not absolutely exclusive the existence of hedges.
By case study, we analyze hedges in news according to Grice’s “Cooperate Principle”, finding that the flouting of one maxim by adopting hedges is to obey another. Therefore, the existence of hedges in language is of great importance. By adopting hedges, news reporting achieves truthfulness, reliability, politeness, and vividness. Furthermore, the news will be better confirming with reader’s way of understanding. Hedges should be used in a permitted and proper way. All in all, having an all-around analysis of hedges in news can achieve the intention of a successful communication between writhers and readers.

1.1 Background of the Study
Attentions were only given to precision phenomena rather than fuzzy one in all areas of life for a very long time, especially with the gradual success of precise methods applied in the development of science and technology, so some people hold a view that preciseness is a commendatory term；on the contrary, fuzziness belongs to a derogatory term. The emergence of the fuzzy set theory was relatively late, only a thing in the middle of last century. In reality, fuzzy phenomena are not merely living in objective world，but also living in natural language. Preciseness and fuzziness are not mutually exclusive but coexist in language. Fuzzy words and expressions are indispensable in daily communications and social intercourses.
