摘要

通过国内外知名学者关于英语学习性别异同方面的探讨调查,我们了解到性别异同关于英语学习的作用,英语论文,主要是因为学生的学习兴趣,态度,和父母的教育,以及教师对学生的作用。某种程度上,针对英语学习,英语论文,女生比男生有优势。但之后我们发现异同并略论出原因。学生,父母或教师应采取适当方法,尽量减少男性和女性之间的英语学习的异同。同时无论男生还是女生都需要情感上的安慰,并帮助他们培养良好的学习态度和提高他们的英语学习兴趣。

Abstract

Through domestic and overseas researches, we know that gender differences have impact on English learning. And it is mainly due to the students’ interest in learning, attitudes, and parents’ education, as well as the impact of teacher on student. To some extent, girls have the advantage in English learning over boys. Then we find the causes and give solutions. Students, parents, or teachers should take appropriate measures to minimize the differences between male and female English learning. We need give boys more emotional comfort, and help them develop good learning attitude, and increase their English learning interest.

1.    Introduction
English is popular all over the world as it is one kind of language mostly used by various people. Nowadays, it is the age of information, knowledge and economy, so with the gradual globalization, it goes without saying the great importance for Chinese students to have a good command of English. Learning English is not only the link with international development, but also the significant tool for studying scientific knowledge. If China wants to be more open to the world, and keeps up with the international trend of the times, firstly Chinese citizens need be equipped with the skill of using English. 
However, English education in rural primary and middle school is still in growth step. We are faced with many pressing conflicts and problems about this aspect. In the middle school English teaching process, there are differences about academic achievements between boys and girls. Some western scholars believe that females have advantages over males in language. (Birenbaum and Kraemer 1993) Normally, it is due to students’ learning interest, strategies, motives, initiative and some other aspects, so gradually differences come out. In terms of this phenomenon, it is necessary to survey and analyse causes and reasons. Then we are able to take relative actions to improve the quality of English education in rural middle school. It will help students increase their interest in English and teachers can grasp the key of reaching at the same time. This is meaningful for the comprehensive development of English teaching.
