Abstract:
Alice Munro is a famous Canadian writer who was awarded the 2017 Nobel Prize in Literature. She is well known for her short stories and regarded as the contemporary master of short stories. Runaway, her masterpiece, has been welcomed and enormously concentrated on by researchers since its publication in 2017. A woman Kara created in her short story Runaway attracts many researchers to study on it. Different people have different comments and this made a new angle to appreciate Runaway. Based on the feminism perspective, this paper will show us the female sex awareness and female social status, which are reflected in this short story. We can also have a further discussion about the female image of Kara and the change of her inner world. At the same time, we are to read the male figure of Clark and his inner world. At the end of the paper, the development of the relationship between man and woman and the significance of good gender relations will be discussed. In history, women have been making all their efforts to pursue the independence and the equality, though facing various troubles. The development of feminism still has a long way to go and it is limited by the social classes and positions in some degree. However, generally speaking, the women’s status will be improved with the development of society. According to these analysis, this paper talks about the harmony relationship between man and woman.

爱丽丝•芒罗荣获2017年诺贝尔文学奖，是加拿大著名短篇小说家。《逃离》是她短篇小说的代表作，英语论文，被认为是一个奇迹。小说在2017年发表，自出版以来受到探讨者和读者的广泛关注。小说《逃离》中的女性形象卡拉吸引了无数探讨者，并在近年来引发了各式各样的解读。本文旨在从女性主义视角出发，英语论文，通过对小说《逃离》中卡拉及克拉克形象的解读，揭示女性性别意识的觉醒和当时女性社会地位，从而进一步讨论卡拉内心世界变化所反映的女性关于自由平等的追求。同时该论文也从女性主义视角对男主人公的变化对其男性的男子气概进行研讨。论文最后讨论当代两性联系的发展情况及两性联系和谐发展的重要性。女性为追求独立和平等所付出不懈努力的同时也遭遇到重重的困难，两性联系和谐发展经历一系列过程，受到社会等级和社会地位的限制。但总体来说，随着时代的发展，两性联系和谐得到不同程度的提高。
