Abstract:
As a special type of art, the film is characterized by a wide audience and varied forms. It has an important mission of spreading information and cultural exchanges. Nowadays with the increasing exchanges between Chinese and the western countries, large quantities of English films are introduced to China. The translation is obviously important for the English film to promote the cultural exchanges between China and the western countries better. In the translation, the primary task is translating the film title. Whether the translation of it is good or not concerns the film’s attraction itself. However, there’s no systematic principle of English film title translation now. Different versions cause great confusion and inconvenience to the audience. Starting with features and functions of English film title, this paper analyzes the main translation and discusses the characteristics of each method. And it will indicate that English film title translation should be under the basic principle of possessing the features of the film title with choosing the suitable translation methods for a perfect version to a wide audience.

摘 要：
电影，作为一种特殊的艺术形式，受众广泛，英语论文，类型多样，承载着信息传播与文化交流的重要使命。现如今随着中西方文化交流的日益频繁，越来越多的优秀的英语电影被引入中国。如何使这些英语电影更好地促进中西方文化交流，翻译显然是尤为重要的。在翻译中，电影片名的翻译是首要工作。电影片名翻译的好坏与否，联系到电影本身的吸引力。 然而，关于英语电影的片名翻译，当前还没有完整的翻译原则。译名混乱的现象给观众带来了非常大的不便。本文从英语电影片名的特点和功能着手，略论了英语片名汉译的主要措施，英语论文，并对各种措施的特点进行研讨，从而得出英语电影片名的汉译应以体现片名的特点为准则，选择适当的翻译措施，为广大的观众献上完美的电影片名。
