Abstract:
Films have been gaining growing popularity in China. Caption translation, a special form of translation, is affected by various factors. Therefore, it is difficult to translate films’ captions well. From recent translated versions of films’ captions such as Kung Fu Panda 2, we can find caption translation is, to a great degree, amusement-oriented, for a great many domestic catchwords have appeared in the translations. This tendency makes the translated caption humorous, extremely loved by some Chinese viewers. However, some other viewers do not favor the tendency, for they believe such translations are not true to the original, which may mislead the English learners. To study this tendency, the author views Skopostheorie as the theoretical basis to analyze the reasons for and different responses to domestic catchwords appearing in the film Men in Black 3.With this analysis, the author believes the application of domestic catchwords in comic film’s caption translation is advisable and that being blindly faithful to the original can't achieve the desired results.

影视著作在中国已极大范围的得到普及。字幕翻译作为一种特殊类型的翻译，英语论文网站，受多种因素作用。因此，很难能把字幕翻译的出色。从最近一些电影的字幕译文中（如《功夫熊猫2》）可以看出如今的字幕翻译在某种程度上变得娱乐化—大量国产潮语出现在译文中。这种趋势使得译文诙谐幽默，颇受部分中国观众喜爱。而一些人却反对此种翻译趋势，英语论文，认为其不忠实原文，可能误导英语学习者。为了探讨此种趋势，本文以翻译目的论为理论基础，对电影《黑衣人3》字幕翻译中出现国产潮语的原因和不同人对此的反响进行略论。略论表明国产潮语运用于喜剧片的字幕译文中是可取的，一味的忠实原文达不到电影的预期效果。
