语块教学法在高职商务英语写作教学中的运用[英语论文]

摘要

    我们能看到,商务英语写作,作为商务英语的基本技能之一,英语论文题目,也很快发展成为一种社会活动。在经济发展的巨浪中,它也成为人们语言思想表达、信息传播与沟通的工具,实现了促进经济的发展的功能,并作为一种特殊事物反映着我们的经济生活。当前,商务英语写作己逐渐发展到更加广泛的经济和国际贸易领域,从事商业交易的相关人员不得不意识到这己经是他们必须掌握的一项基本技能。毋庸置疑,这些也唤起了在语言课堂上变革的迫切需求。商务英语教学作为语言教师,我们不得不日趋完善商务英语写作的教学内容与措施,建立适应社会需要的写作教学体系。作者认为,这一体系必须要以商务英语的专业特点为基础,以商务实践为框架,实现英语语言知识的传授。
    对于语言知识的传授,许多语言学家及外语教师到了语块在其中的重要影响并做了大量探讨。语块是“形式”和“功能”的联合体,是“一串预制的连贯或不连贯的词或其它意义单位,它整体存储在记忆中,使用时直接提取,无需语法生成和略论”(Wray}  2017)。语块法(Lewis, 1993)认为“语言并不是由语法和词汇组成,而是由大量的语块组成”。“语言是语法化的词汇,而不是词汇化的语法”,“语言知识的获得和交际能力的提高是通过扩大学生的语块、搭配能力和有效掌握最基本词汇和语言结构而实现的”。但对于语块在语言教学中的影响大多为理论上的研讨,英语论文题目,实证性的探讨不多。在国内,为数不多的实证探讨也是针对普通英语学习者。因此,本文试图通过语块的实验性教学来论证语块的使用是否对提高高职学生的商务英语写作能力有积极作用以及语块教学法是否适合高职商务英语写作教学实践,并希望实验中所实施的增强语块意识的教学活动及产出性训练法能对高职的商务英语写作教学提供有益的参考和启示。
    本探讨中的实验以江苏城市职业学院昆山学院2017级商务英语系两个自然班的学生为对象,把他们设置成实验组和控制组,在为期一个学期的教学实验中,我们对控制组采用传统教学措施进行教学,对实验组采用语块教学法进行教学。实验结束后,作者使用质化和量化的措施对数据进行略论。学生作文的得分数据略论结果表明语块教学法的实施能有效提高高职学生的商务英语写作水平。学生作文中语块使用的数量数据结果的略论表明语块教学法的实施能使学生在作文中有意识使用更多的语块。因此我们可以说学生习得更多语块和学生的写作水平的提高有着密切联系。此外,为了解学生对商务英语写作教学中应用语块教学法的态度和感受,作者在试验前后进行了问卷调查。调查结果表明学习在商务英语写作中应用语块能提高学生的对商务英语写作的积极性并增加改善写作技能的信心。
    基于以上发现,作者对高职商务英语写作教学提出以下建议:1)在教学中应有效发展学生对于商务英语表达的语块。2)帮助学生养成良好的学习策略。3)在商务英语写作教学中培养学生利用语块构建篇章的意识。


Abstract

    The role business letter writing plays in the language learning is getting more andmore important. In the surging development of economy, we have witnessed that thebusiness letter writing, as one of the basic skills of business English, develops itself as asocial activity .It reflects economic life as a special object, expresses the language as ameans, and promotes the development of economy as its objectives. Currently, businessletter writing has been gradually developed into a broader process of economic and tradedevelopments in the field and for relevant personnel who conduct business transactions,it's certainly become a skill to be mastered if they want to achieve much in their profession.Undoubtedly all of these request an immediate reform in the language teaching. Aslanguage teachers ,it's our duty to consummate the teaching of  the business letter writingboth in contents and in methods so as to set up a more complete teaching system whichaims to serve the society. This article author believes that setting up the system shouldinvolve the specialized characteristics of business English as a base and the businesspractice as a framework realizing the learning and teaching of language.
    As for the learning and teaching of language, many linguists and foreign languageteachers are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of lexical chunks in recentyears. A lot of studies have been madeon thein  thechunking theory. Lexical chunks are theready-madecomposites.memorized  combinationslanguage.   They  are  form/functionOnce acquired and stored in human brain, they are easily retrievable andaccessible.
