To assure the data analysis of real and useful, author sequentially from 5 prestige English Economic Journal and radio program "voice of America", "New York Times", the economist, the British Broadcasting Company News "and" international online "selected 10 2017 economic news, a total of 50 as the corpus. The total number of words in the corpus is 23210, and the average word length is about 460 words. By using the methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis, the paper discusses the following achievements: 1) whether grammatical metaphor can be widely used in English economic news discourse? 2) what are the major types of grammatical metaphor in English economic news? 3) what are the different types of grammatical metaphors in English economic news and what are their functions? Based on the analysis of grammatical metaphor in the estimation of the frequency, the spread and the efficacy of the following conclusions: 1) the grammatical metaphor in English economic news discourse. 2) large amount of grammatical metaphor is mainly based on conceptual metaphor, and the number of interpersonal metaphor is small. 3) emergence of conceptual metaphor in Halliday's grammatical metaphor of the second and third level, namely in the transitivity system each process type conversion (contains the mutual conversion between the process and the external of the process) and the lexical grammatical level metaphors, nominalization is an important origin. Conceptual metaphor of a large number of application adequacy in economic news discourse shows the characteristics of the genre of news effect and application of a large number of metaphors of mood and manner of metaphor obscures the discourse in covert talk form, in order to express news discourse absolute objectivity. Through the deconstruction of language used in English Economic News Discourse of grammatical metaphor, positive reminded talking in English news discourse wonders of the place, to an audience of listeners or readers understand and insight into economic news the author's writing intention of the eve of the benefit.
