This study started from the chronic problem of Korean cultural ODA that is lack of programs to find solution. Since the concept of cultural ODA was not clear, the thesis defined the term and the role of culture in economic and political development as well as in sustainable development as a new consisting pillar. This study is conducted upon quantitative analysis on policy, organization, budget and programs particularly utilizing OECD sources. Prior to the analysis, each country was categorized into two types; Germany and Korea as economic interest oriented countries; Norway as promotion of democracy oriented country in operating cultural ODA. The analysis discovered that Germany pursues economic interest as a long-term by strengthening relations with recipient countries and promoting German language and literature but Germany also tries to put importance on the promotion of democracy throughout the programs. Norway consistently supports the promotion of democracy and robustly contributes to human rights in recipient countries through cultural activities. Korea focuses on cultural exchange aims at the promotion and dissemination of the superiority of Korean culture in recipient countries. For the improvement of Korean cultural ODA and the problem solving, rethinking the concept of cultural ODA and thorough analysis of leading countries cultural ODA is critical. ,韩语毕业论文,韩语论文网站 |
