This study investigated the possibility of national geological attractions of Gochang and Buan by analyzing their geological characteristics and values. This study investigated the possibility of national geological attractions of Gochang and Buan by analyzing their geological characteristics and values. In addition, examples of educational utilizations and methods in elementary, middle, high school, university and people at large were discussed. Geological attractions in Gochang and Buan were studied by literature and field survey. As a result, 24 geological attractions were proposed. In Gochang, Hajeon mud flat, Soyosan lava dome, Jinheunggul rhyolitic tuff, Maebul rhyolite at Dosolam, Yongmungul rhyolitic tuff, Nakjodae and Cheonmabong rhyolite, Byeongbawi rhyolite, Guamri spherulitic rhyolite, Ungok wetland, Gochang Dolmen site, Gochang Myeongsasipri beach, and Gusipo Gamakseom bedrock were proposed and in Buan, Daehangri granite geniss, Jeokbyeokgang peperite, Chaeseokgang Kyeokpori formation, Bonghwabong dinosaur footprint, Sedimentary formation boundary at Gunghang, Solseom gas escaped structure, Mohang veins of quartz, Jikso Falls columnar joint, Gulbawi and Seongye Falls, Ulgumbawi, Wido Beolkeumri formation, Wido Sorimaeul volcanic rock were proposed. The most important geological value in these attractions is the Cretaceous volcanic complex. The volcanic complex occupying most of the geological attractions in Gochang and Buan provides information on the Cretaceous volcanic activities and their effects including sedimentation. Volcanic complex featuring circular or oval shape is geologically and academically valuable because the area conserves volcanic edifice very well and can be the best place to study characteristics of ancient volcanic complex. The rock floor of Sedimentary formations and various deformation around the volcanic rock mass can show the development of sedimentation and the formative period of deformation. Not only that, this area including Byeonsanbando National Park, Seonunsan Provincial Park, USCO designated Ramsar wetlands such as Julpoman and Ungok wetland, Gochang Biosphere Reserve and Dolmen World Heritage has beautiful natural scenery and residents' high awareness of natural environments. Therefore, the value of local area and the pride of residents can be much higher with its designation of the National Geopark. Geoparks can be used and developed as an educational place for creative field trips and club activities of elementary, middle and high schools. University research programs are vigorously progressed at the coastal area of Gochang and Buan. Geopark commentator programs and workshops can be developed. Geopark can provide visitors with useful geology education as well as give local residents economic benefits by inducing people to ecological and archeological attractions together with geological attractions. Therefore, geology education programs should be linked with tourist attraction programs. The coastal area of Gochang and Buan has a lot of potential to be a National Geopark with the development of various geotourism education programs. ,韩语论文,韩语论文网站 |
