The nonprofit organization is constituted of the individuals of their own accord and achieve a common cause by producing public services. This can improve the responsibility of citizen and cultural citizenship. Even though the contemporary society has developed in economic and social, political dimensions, it is still suffering from lots of social problems like inequality and discord, destruction of the environment, human alienation, etc. It seems that one of the solutions of the social problems is the invigoration of the nonprofit organization. People of the twenty-first century, so to speak the cultural era, are more interested in the culture and the art than ever. So the culture and art promotion is indispensible for the happiness of the public and has been selected as one of the 2013 governmental projects in Korea. As well as the government, the nonprofit organization is able to provide the disadvantaged groups opportunities to enjoy the culture and art. In addition, the nonprofit organization can work on in world stage as well as local society. Therefore the nonprofit organizations, especially in the field of the culture and art, are positively necessary. In this circumstance the social demand for the culture and art are ever increasing, but the public asset is limited. So enterprises and citizens have to support actively the nonprofit organizations. Since the nonprofit organization originally don't think about creating profit, even the profit of its essential business is far from enough. In addition to that, volunteers working for the culture and art field are suffering for the unstable social and economical status. As a result the nonpofit organizations have nothing to do but count on the support and donation of three parts, like the government and enterprises, citizens. This study is going to suggest that first of all the nonprofit organizations have to establish the public nature and aim to be durable by conducting the essential business and educational work. Secondly diversify the members of the board of directors and support a training experts in donation and fund-raising as a way of finance organization. Thirdly it is necessary to cooperate with the public institution and enterprises, nonprofit organization. Finally I urge the government to found a program so that people can appreciate the donation and support the nonprofit organizations. Most of members of the nonprofit musical organizations are professional artists. So they are able to provide the cultural service of quality and art education for youths and the disadvantaged groups. Furthermore more and more nonprofit organizations cooperate with enterprises and local community welfare centers. This will contribute to the spread of cultural welfare.
