This study attempts to observe the effects of the Six Thinking Hats methodology as a way to improve problem solving and communication skills in Korean speaking education. In order to improve problem solving and communication skills, it is important for a learner to be exposed to a situation where he or she has to undergo trial and error to solve a problem. The main purpose of the study was: 1) to select the Six Thinking Hats methodology, which is believed to provide plenty of opportunities for the learner to use various Korean expressions in many different situations and; 2) to evaluate the educational effectiveness of the Six Thinking Hats methodology. For this purpose, this study thoroughly examines the concept and characteristics of the Six Thinking Hats methodology and proposes Korean discussion activities based on this methodology. To evaluate the effectiveness of the Six Thinking Hats methodology, the study compares the differences in the speech of the learners who participated in discussion activities based on the Six Thinking Hats with those who did not, and confirms the applicability of the Six Thinking Hats methodology. As a result, the Six Thinking Hats methodology reduced the learning burden of the learners, had positive impacts on the learner's interest in learning, and provides possibilities for various types of thinking. Moreover, it showed an increase in the amount of speech by the participants. Therefore, if the learners continue with discussion activities using the Six Thinking Hats methodology, they would be able to apply it in daily speaking. This will lead to broadening one’s horizons, concisely expressing one’s opinions, and eventually communicating fluently with native Korean speakers. ,韩语论文范文,韩语论文 |
