This study is aimed to present the Chinese Korean learners with the accurate sentence writing methods after analysing their errors in writing. Writing is the most difficult area and it makes the learners deviate to practice or to be trained. L2 learners make many mistakes even though they studied how to make phrases or sentences and practiced writing much enough. This is because the Korean teaching methods are too much focused on the structures and the meanings. When the L2 learners learn grammar, most teaching methods stress the grammatical morphemes and the changes in meanings with different morphemes. But the students can't make expressions they want even after the learning.
Teaching writing should start from pattern writing to prevent errors in it. The errors in sentence writing should be corrected from the emergent stage or from the early intermediate stage because the sentence writing usually starts from these stages. The writings in the early and emergent stages mainly consists of copying or imitating the basic patterns. This pattern writing helps the L2 learners understand the Korean sentence structures. But the early stage writing methods above don’t help the intermediate stage L2 learners. L2 learners can’t grow to the next level of composing their own Korean sentences from the copying or imitating patterns, putting the correct vocabulary according to the contexts, or from the writing practices focussing on grammar patterns. Grasped the basic Korean sentence patterns through the pattern imitating at the early stages, learners should cultivate their sentence making competence at the intermediate stage to deliver their intentions.
Error analysis through the writing materials from the L2 learners can be studied in many different aspects. This study won’t deal the errors in grammar because the field has already studied enough. Instead this will examine how to teach writing mainly focusing on Korean syntax. The process of study has followed the steps; Collected the various writing materials from the intermediate level of Chinese Korean learners. Analyzed the errors in the materials. Discussed the proper teaching approaches and methods to reduce the errors. Reported the result after applying the suggested teaching methods. To take the above steps, from the collected writing materials, awkward expressions sorted by types. The sorted errors are again sorted by word connection styles, adverb usages, noun phrase compositions and by sentence extensions to examine the Korean syntax. After analysing the errors, several teaching methods were suggested and then designed the teaching models for writing sentences. The teaching methods on sentence writing were developed to help Chinese students understand Korean syntax by learning words connection structure, adverb phrase or noun phrase constructions. Lastly, I taught Chinese students with the developed teaching method and discussed the result after class.
Learning writing skills is essential to Learners who study Korean for academic reasons. But we don't have any powerful teaching method in the writing and it makes the teachers and learners both suffer from teaching or getting Korean writing skills. With that reason, this study aimed to suggest some various sentence writing teaching skills and help the learners. At the intermediate stage, any effective writing teaching method is applied and it makes students construct syntactical understanding, students will reduce the errors common in advanced level. The sentence writing teaching method focusing on lexicology and syntactics will grow the L2 learners’ Korean writing competence if it is accompanied by the existing methods, which stresses the semantics and morphology,
