This study tried to find the correlationship between Chinese's students Korean TV watching and their behaviors and interest in Korean society and cultural variables. The results of the study are as follows:
There were significant relationships between Korean TV watching and interest in Korean costumes, foods, traditional cultures. There were significant relationships between entertainment porgram watching and interest in Korean costumes, foods, and traditional cultures. There were significant relationships between drama watching and interest in Korean costumes, foods, and traditional cultures. However, this study did not find that news watching was not significantly correlated with interest in Korean costumes, foods, and traditional cultures.
Regarding the behavioral variables, this study found that there were no significant relationships between Korean TV watching and getting-along with Koreans. Yes, there were significant relationships between Korean TV watching and daily-lives, Korean costumes wearing, Korean food eating, Korean etiquette. Also, there were significant relationships between Korean entertainment TV program watching and daily-lives, Korean costumes watching and Korean food eating. However, there were no significant correlationships between Korean entertainment TV program watching and getting-along with Koreans and learning Koreans etiquette. There were significant relationships between Korean drama program. watching and Korean costumes watching. Korean food eating, and Korean etiquette. Yes, there were no significant relationships with getting-along with Koreans and daily lives. Finally, there were no significant relationships between Korean news and current issus program
watching with getting-along and with Koreans, daily lives, costumes wearing and Korean food eating variables.
