Recently, the number of people who are not majoring in Korean but can also speak Korean are more and more needed in China. Learning Korean is a way of self-development. Therefore, more and more people are learning Korean through various of social education institute, which makes a good Korean language teaching material is extremely necessary. However, there is no research for this field so far. Futhermore, no teaching material is making for the social education institutes in China.
This is to seek a way to make an appropriate Korean Language teaching material for social education institutes.
Chapter 2 discussed Korean Language teaching status in China briefly, then discussed its status in Shanghai's case.
Through a survey of Korean learners and Korean teacher, their assessments and requirements about the Korean Language teaching materials they are using are concluded.
Chapter 3 discussed and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the 3 kinds of Korean Language learning material we chose.
Based on the previous chapters, chapter 4 showed an exemplary material which reflects the plan of the Korean Language teaching material's development and it's structure the social education institute had made. Therefore, refer to the Korean Language learning material that the social education institute are using, an example of a beginner's textbook and full contents of one chapter were introduced.
Chinese social education institute will become a very important part of Korean Language education. Therefore, the Korean language scholars and researchers in this field should be more concerned about and conduct more research.
