The purpose of this study was to describe my experiences I have encountered during the time when I was teaching dancing to the students with mental and developmental disorder, under my supervision. I was implementing the research tasks in a ethonographic research method, and the procedure was based on my experiences and the framework was investigated through the educational issues and dilemma reflected upon while I was giving dancing instructions to the students as special education recipients. For this purpose, the dancing instructions were provided to the students requiring special education as extra-curricular actitivities as well as to contemplate the effectiveness of the alternatives for the better solution. To complete the task, some suggestion was made in relation to the issue and this can be characterized as some research questions such as "what makes the dancing class for the students receiving special education as extra-curricular activitiy and how does it look like as cultural being? For this purpose, four students and I participated in the research and, to verify the effectiveness of the study, all the data were used as to the student's class activities, including memo, notes, pictures, messengers, emails, and etc with some detailed information from student's head teacher, peer investigators, and interviews from parents. The culturally meaningful episodes offered by the research results are represented as follows: 'What if someone doesn't like me?', 'unlike adults, children never break the promises, 'the meaning of teachers for the students may not be the same as the teachers have,' some biases and mistakes that I have neglected on student's part', 'children's society, please take care of me', 'you should be somewhat bold and confident about yourself in a culturally cowering, conservative atmosphere,' 'some misconceptions widespread in the mainstream society and cultures about dancing classroom lacking social care and cultural tolerance in a way' and etc. According to the analysis of the longitudinal coding, the results are turned out to be as follows: 'cultural stereotypes awakened by beginning to teach dancing class to the students with disabilities' and 'awareness of the misconceptions widespread in the base of our society'. In the former, I explored some student's attitude cowered by our sociery's misconceptions, originated from stereotypes and prejudices against the disabilities, and my reflections on the change of my perceptions of mind, starting from prejudice to the understanding of the invisible reality, stirred by promises never kept by our society. I added further investigations and findings containg my experiences and awareness that I was also being assimilated in the widespread cultural atmosphere in relation to the issues. In the latter part of research subtitled as 'a culturally cowering, atmosphere,' 'some misconceptions embedded in our mainstream society', I observed the images of teachers reflected in the eyes of the students while giving them the dancing instructions. and finally, concluded my thesis with the introduction of the defensive perceptions toward them as I found out during the implementing session and the discussion of the issues of our desirable attitude toward them. ,韩语论文题目,韩语论文题目 |
