Capitalism culture is involved with almost all areas of our lives, but there are no specific alternatives to overcome the culture. The large and standardized capitalism culture emasculates the principal agents and forms culture with products centered. In capitalism, having value means creating profits. Capitalism changes all value into exchangeable one, and all the value is converted into amounts. The only purpose that should be pursed in capitalism is expansion of profits, and the value that does not contributes to the expansion of profits is neglected. The capitalism culture that penetrates deep into our lives raises fundamental questions about what unexchangeable value is and what the genuine value that we should pursue. This study is intended to consider the ideology of capitalism from the humanistic perspective and to discover the problems of capitalism. Based on these problems, the study also tries to consider the role of church that should be played in the capitalism culture along with the value that should be highlighted. In the chapter 1, the ideology premised in the exchange behaviors, fetishism and reproduction of ideology will be studied. Because the concept of ideology is polysemantic, the concept is understood first. Then, the ideology underlying in the exchange behaviors, fetishism and how ideology is reproduced will be studied. In the chapter 2, what culture capital, products and money create will be covered. This chapter will cover the problem of anti-value related to capital, the problem of experience imagificated related to products and disconnection of money and human relations. What effects this culture have on human experience and cognition will be studied. The chapter 3 will cover theological anthropology. Human is transcendental existence and relational existence as God's image. Human participates in creation work of God and has to enter into personal relation with neighbors. Christianity teaches that human should have a dominant position, and that all the culture should be constituted with human centered. By understanding teachings of christianity about human, this study intends to establish theological base for realization of humanistic culture. In the chapter 4, the realization of humanistic culture will be covered in detail. The social roles of church to realize humanistic culture in the capitalism culture will be researched. This chapter will discover the cultural heritages that church contains after establishing how church community should be understood to perform social functions. Many things that we experience are affected by capitalism ideology. The problems of mammonism and consumerism raised today will be understood in relation with capitalism ideology. The capitalism ideology will be analyzed realistically not to be captured by capitalism culture and to suggest new alternatives. Based on this analysis, the alternative values that church suggests to today's society will be researched.
