Therefore, this research aimed to figure out the... This research launched with an awareness of a problem regarding effective and appropriate alternatives for North Korean defectors who came to S. Korea to settle down in society of Republic of Korea. Therefore, this research aimed to figure out the influence of general settlement support policy of government on defectors’ local adaption and social adjustment currently in operation rather than fragmentary analysis about settlement policy for North Korean defectors which had been operated. To achieve this purpose, this study analyzed the influencing relationship between settlement support policy and social adjustment for North Korean defectors, alongside its satisfaction and awareness. In addition, it provided an in-depth analysis of social network that has regarded as a critical factor for social adjustment of marriage migrants, refugees and multi-cultural society. Therefore, it presented a moderating effect of social network between settlement support policy and the process of social adjustment, then it verified the differences of effect of its size and type of social network on social adjustment and it showed the results. This study, therefore, was aimed to figure out effect of social network and its influencing relationship. Furthermore, this research studied deepen understanding about the system of North Korean defectors’ entry into South, local adjustment and social adjustment support/post management of the government of Republic of Korea by literature review. In a research model, therefore, the type of policy device of settlement support policy was proposed as a independent variable and it was classified into economical support, educational support, informational support and organization sponsor support. This research, finally classified into functional aspect and structural aspect of social network to investigate its moderation and its effect to seek further multilateral research direction in regards to social network of North Korean defectors. The survey distributed to North Korean detectors from 8th to 26th of November, 2016 and the data were collected from 197 significant respondents to analyze. The respondents were ranged from whom aged over 20s and settled in their local places for more than a year, a limited period of local adjustment since they discharged after received settlement support from government, Main results are as follows. Firstly, factor analysis and reliability analysis were carried out to figure out reliability and validity of settlement support policy for North Korean detectors, social functioning network and social adjustment. Secondly, the settlement support policy consisted of economic support and education support, and social functioning network were classified and named as material, informational, evaluative and emotional network, Social adjustment were also classified into three factors and they are named as psychological, cultural, economic and social adjustment. The overall reliability was significant as its figured 0.960. To test hypothesis, the simple and multiple regression analysis were applied, and analyzed a causal relationship among settlement support policy, social functioning network and social adjustment. Firstly, in hypothesis 1, the cultural adjustment positively influenced on economic and social support factor and organization support factor. Moreover, in psychological adjustment, all of those, economic support factor, education support factor, informational support factor and organization support factor influenced positively. Secondly, in hypothesis 2, the organization support factor had positive influence on both emotional network and informational network while material network had positive influence on economic support factor, education support factor and organization support factor. Thirdly, in hypothesis 3, the informational network factor and the evaluative network factor affected positively in regards to the economic and social adjustment, moreover, the material network factor, the informational network and the evaluative network factor influenced positively in terms of cultural adjustment, and lastly, in regards to psychological adjustment, there was positive relationship among emotional network factor, evaluative network factor and material network factor. Fourthly, in hypothesis 4, the informational network had a partial moderating effect on organization support and cultural adjustment, and then, evaluative network had a moderating effect on education support and economic and social adjustment in part, and lastly, material network had a moderating effect on education support and psychological adjustment partially. Finally, in hypothesis 5, it was verified that the size and type of network in South Korea had a significant difference effect on social adjustment. There are theoretical implications based on this study’s results. This study is significant as it aimed to figure out that general settlement support policy affect such social network and social adjustment for North Korean detectors, thus, it classified into social functioning network and structural network to see whether social functioning network had a moderating effect on settlement support policy and social adjustment, finally, this study investigated whether there was a difference in effect by size and type of social network in process of influence on social adjustment. There has been a less significant to study about settlement support policy affect social adjustment and social network because number of previous researches about North Korean detector so far have studied in settlement support policy and social adjustment category mostly. Therefore, social network is underlined the importance for all sort of emigrants and refugees, thus, this study have a different significant from other previous ones on account of the fact that it presented that the social network emerged as an important research area associated with North Korean detectors. Meanwhile, at practical view based on results, vocational education and training enhancement and social network expansion from a long-term point of view are more than important rather than unconditional free support for early settlement and stable social adjustment of North Korean detectors. To achieve these solution, qualified professional knowledge and accomplishment about emotion and behavior of North Korean detectors are required for government officers and social welfare worker from corresponding department. Because genuine support and passion from private organization is also important for North Korean detectors’ social adjustment, government needs to devise a plan for expansion of social network with using private resources, and maintain its close cooperation system among state bodies by network construction. Furthermore, it also required to launch intensive education program about importance of social network in Settlement Support Center for North Korean Refugees(Hanawon) and social adjustment center(Hana center). Finally, to compliment the limitation of this study, future research is expected to study objective scale development that contains general variables of settlement support policy on a nation-wide scale to invigorate the settlement support policy with improvement approaches from both theoretical and practical implication. ，韩语论文范文，韩语论文题目 |
