The purpose of the study is mainly to research how people among all age groups perceive Street Dance. As for the subjects of the research, I selected 429 people in total from a group of adults who are in their 20s to 50s and currently live in a city no less than Metropolitan City. I conducted Frequencies Analysis and One-way-ANOVA for the collected materials and reached the following conclusion. First, after conducting a survey on one’s perception of the term Street Dance, most of people are aware of it as B-Boying, while people in 30s to 50s mistakenly name it as Break Dance, and 20s as FreeStyle or Hiphop Dance. Second, after asking one’s experience in seeing any Street Dance performance, people in 20s to 40s mostly answered that they have seen one by media (television, news, magazines, etc.). On the other hand, most in 50s said they have only seen one on TV. Then most of age groups answered that they do not have any experience pertaining to watching any of its performance. Thirdly, in regards to a difference in one’s participating in any Street Dance education, over 90% of all age groups responded‘none of the above’. Fourth, as for the place where a person learned Street Dance before, again over 90% of respondents said they have no experience at all, so forth I could not get any substantial findings. Fifth, from the result of the research where I asked how they came to know Street Dance, in all age groups most of people said it was possible via media (TV, magazines, news, internet, etc.). Others said it was by watchingbusking or gigs on the streets. Sixth, when it came to the difference in one’s awareness of the term, Street Dance, respondents in 20s said leisure activity and art of dance, 30s said art of dance and leisure activity, 40s said singer and amusement, and 50s said art of dance and amusement in order. Seventh, in a research on different awareness of the image of Street dancers, most of age groups perceive them as liberal followed by dancer. People in 20s to 40s saw them as artists while, 50s showed almost the same percentage in both answers that are troublesome and awesome. Eighth, in a research where I asked them about the physical value of Street Dance, the older they were the lower the value they expected making bigger gaps between each age group. Ninth, in a research on one’s awareness of personal value of Street Dance, the older people are the lower the value awareness is seen. Especially, the gap was big between 30s and 40s. Tenth, in a research on one’s awareness on Street Dance’s artistic value, the older people are, the value awareness gets lower. Particularly, the gap was big between 40s and 50s. Eleventh, in a research on a difference in social and cultural value awareness, the older the age group was, the lower the figures show. Conspicuously, the gap between 20s and 30s, and 30s and 40s were large while it was similar between 40s and 50s. The study was conducted among different age groups to research on the mass ’awareness on Street Dance. Also, it was clear that we need more effort in diverse fields in order to reach out to them and vitalize Street dance, and I hope the study be a great help to be so. ,韩语论文网站,韩语毕业论文 |
