This research analyzed empirically the effect of creativity on innovation behavior for cooks and, in this relationship, how the moderating effect of self-directed learning and the result of the innovation behavior have influence on the innovation performance. The results of the analysis were generated as follows. First, as a result of verifying the relationship between individual creativity and innovation behavior, all of the sub-variables of individual creativity are proved to have positive influence on innovation behavior. Specifically, as a result of verifying the differences in the effects of individual creativity on idea generation and publicity, it was found that creative thinking skill, task motivation, knowledge, and experience in order have great influence on idea generation and publicity and, as a result of verifying the differences in the effects of individual creativity on idea execution, it was found that task motivation, creative thinking skill, knowledge, and experience in order have great influence on idea execution. Therefore, in order to strengthen the individual creativity of the employees, companies should create an atmosphere for creating new ideas, should compensate them in case that they create new ideas, should make them improve their ideas and have thoughts more enhanced and creative rather than neglect or think light of them though they are insufficient in creativity or present ideas that have already been released as products, should motivate them utilizing continuous education and mentoring systems, and should make the expertise or experiences of their seniors or bosses passed on through mentoring. Second, as a result of verifying the relationship between group creativity and innovation behavior, it was found that diversity, cohesiveness, and relationship among sub-variables of creativity have positive influence on idea generation, diversity and relationship have on idea publicity, and diversity, cohesiveness, and relationship have on idea execution. Therefore, companies will have to promote close mutual relationships between leaders and members through Job rotation, benchmarking of advanced companies, providing educational opportunities to learn various professional skills by inviting experts periodically, creating an organizational atmosphere based on trust, encouragement and support system for idea creation, problem-solving, career development support for the members of the organization, the ability to integrate diversity and the role as a technical information source of leaders, presenting leaders' passion and vision, etc. Third, the result of verifying the relationship between organizational creativity and innovation behavior showed positive direction of mutual influence. Therefore, in order to reinforce organizational creativity, companies will have to establish compensation systems based on fairness together with various organizational supports in order to form innovation culture, a culture encouraging idea creation and practicing it, educational environment to promote creativity, and a culture that tolerates trials and errors to new challenges. In addition, there should be supports from organizational atmosphere and management such as ensuring voluntary activities, allowing informal activities, promoting discovery opportunities, various stimulations, and activities promoting communication so that creative thinking activities can be carried out. Fourth, as a result of verifying the moderating effects of self-directed learning in the relationship between individual creativity and innovation behavior, only creativity thinking skill among individual creativities showed that self-directed learning has moderating effect in the relationship with idea promotion and, as a result of verifying the moderating effect of self-directed learning in the relationship between group creativity and innovation behavior, only relationship among group creativities showed the effect in the relationship with idea generation, and only diversity in the relationship with idea publicity, and only diversity and cohesiveness in the relationship with idea execution showed that self-directed learning has moderating effect. And, as a result of verifying the moderating effect of self-directed learning in the relationship between organizational creativity and innovation behavior, the moderating effect was shown only in the relationship between organizational creativity and idea generation. Therefore, companies should support their employees to enhance self-directed learning ability as well as create the atmosphere for self-directed learning. Finally, the result of verifying the relationship between innovation behavior and innovation performance showed positive influence. Therefore, companies need to give support and make efforts, in organizational level, to generate creative ideas, to promote other people's ideas, to secure the funds required to execute new ideas, to establish appropriate plans to execute new ideas, and to develop schedules, etc.
