The growth gap between the regional authorities are looking for strategies to deal with the aging of the population brought by. This research is based on two assumptions: first, population aging of can influence economic growth; second, in China and South Korea the aging of the population to increase regional economic growth difference. Through descriptive statistics and linear regression, this paper verifies the hypothesis. The first is assumed to be take the four independent variables: R & D revenue growth, capital formation growth, based on a percentage of the population increase rate of labor force growth and age 65 and over population. It is assumed that the dependent variable is the real increase in GDP. The two assumption is that the second elements of the discretion of the expenditure and the regional economic growth gap. In this paper, the economic growth of 16 provinces and cities in China, 31 provinces and cities of economic growth and expenditure of the state, and thus analyze the coherence between the two.
