This study compares and analyses the results from the research of people's sense of language, which was conducted in 2017, 2017, and 2017. These three research projects are very useful to examine and trace the change of people's sense of language and real condition of the people's language usage since the Framework Act on the National Language was enacted in 2017 and provide the material for planning future language-related policies. In Chapter 1, I begin with the purpose and methodology of the study and review the previous work and literature relevant language awareness and language usage. Next, Chapter 2 includes the concept of the language awareness and outlines the research of people's sense of language in 2017, 2017, and 2017. Also, as the examples of the previous work on language awareness, the studies from Japan, China, and France were outlined. Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 include the analysis of the survey results and suggestion on planning future language-related policies. The results from people's sense of language in Chapter 3 were divided into three parts. The first part is about the interest in the Korean language and problem consciousness. Two specific questions were analyzed: (1) the degree of interest and areas in Korean; (2) the areas that people think they do not properly use the Korean language. The interests in Korean were relatively decreased because of English fever in Korea, which happened in 2017, but according to the 2017 study, those interests have been increased. In particular, the interests in speaking, pronunciation and orthography, and politeness in language have been significantly increased. The results from the 2017 and 2017 surveys showed that people had a hard time properly using the Korean language; however, in the 2017 survey the results on pronunciation and intonation, the use of honorifics, and grammar were increased by three times. The second part is about the language usage: the use of honorifics, standard language and dialects, foreign words and foreign language, refined words, and media language. The third part is about language education and language policy for the ability of using proper Korean and the improvement of the Korean language. This part focuses on the result of the questions about Korean education and Korean language policy, excluding the questions about foreign language education. Chapter 4 analyses each result on the status of the progress from the three surveys of 'People's sense of language' and discusses possible future works. The stage of survey were reviewed, dividing into three sections: (1) survey planning and design; (2) designing the questionnaire and data collection; (3) data analysis. Also, this part give a suggestion on the implications of the survey findings, something that needs to be complemented, and future works. The last chapter suggests on the direction of the Korean language policies. First, the three surveys of 'People's sense of language' as the way to improve people's interests in Korean need to be used for investigating the status of the Korean usage. Also, this chapter discusses how to make a circumstance to increase the interests in the Korean language. The analysis of the Korean language usage can contribute to increasing the ability of using proper Korean and the Korean language awareness; thus, the present study suggests that it is necessary to make a circumstance to provide information about the Korean language, which can be acquired with ease and convenience. Moreover, with this circumstance and people's interests in Korean, it is necessary to revise policies on people's ability to improve their Korean and evaluating these abilities. If institutions and policies for using the Korean language rightly are not reflected in people's real language usage, they should be revized and updated; thus, it is necessary to thoroughly analyze the three surveys of 'People's sense of language' for policy implications. Research on people's real language usage which provides the basis for language policy making should be regularly conducted, and researchers should make an effort to improve methods of research in order to facilitate more effective finding. ,韩语论文,韩语毕业论文 |
