Stream disturbance might be thought discontinuous employment and phenomenon that change physical stream appearance and fluctuating community structure and/or population size in aquatic ecosystem. The types of disturbance in streams were as follows : change of physical and chemical characteristics, equipment of constructions, damage of habitat by aggregate gathering and some other various appearance. The study was performed for the purpose of apprehend solving the problems on stream disturbance during artificial stream restoration and rehabilitation. be disturb grasp for performed. Three kinds of surveying sites and each reference sites were designated for the purpose of understanding contingent stream disturbance efficiently. Ichthyofaunal analyses was applicated as tools for assessment to stream ecosystem each kinds of surveying sites. Major categories of assessment to stream ecosysteam were as follows: species composition, species diversity, ecosystem structure, and habitat suitability. Twenty-one fish species were belonging three orders and seven families with dominant species as pale chub which were living at the down stream of Andong dam with sand river bed approximately. The dominance index was 59.7, diversity index was 1.6, species evenness was 0.5, species richness was 3.4, the friquency of Korean endemic species was 33.3%(seven species), and the frequency of introduced species was 4.8% (one species) as result of ichthyofaunal analysis at down stream of Andong dam. Fourteen fish species were belonging three orders five families with dominant species as crucian carp which were living at the Naeseongcheon as reference site with sand river bed approximately. The dominance index was 37.2, diversity index was 1.7, species evenness was 0.6, species richness was 2.4, the frequency of Korean endemic species was 21.4%(three species) as result of ichthyofaunal analysis at the Naeseongcheon as reference site. The species number and richness were appeared at down stream of disturbed Andong dam higher than Naeseongcheon while the water level was sustaining highly during this survey. However, comparative stability of the Naeseongcheon was appeared rather higher than down stream of Andong dam because of most ichthyofaunal community indices high at the Naeseongcheon. Discharged flow of Andong dam did affected to ichthyofaunal community, however, total assesment scores of Naeseongcheon were lower in spring and highly scored in the autumn at the Naeseongcheon, as the results of ichthyofaunal assesment between the down stream of Andong dam and Naeseongcheon. Species numbers at Imha dam were more Gilancheon in greater, however, Korean endemic species, introduced species, habitat diversity and some characters of Gilancheon were favorable mostly. Twenty-eight species were belonging three orders and seven families with dominant species as pale chub which were living at the down stream of Imha dam with gravel river bed approximately. The dominance index was 40.7, diversity index was 2.4, species evenness was 0.7, species richness was 4.5, the frequency of Korean endemic species was 35.7%(ten species), and the frequency of introduced species was 7.1% (two species) as result of ichthyofaunal analysis at the down stream of Imha dam. Twenty-three fish species were belonging three orders and six families with dominant species as pale chub which were living in the Gilancheon as reference site with gravel river bed approximately. The dominance index was 26.2, diversity index was 2.4, species evenness was 0.8, species richness was 3.8, the frequency of Korean endemic species was 39.1%(nine species), and the frequency of introduced species was 4.3% (one species) as result of ichthyofaunal analyses at the Gilancheon as reference site. Species numbers at Imha dam were more Gilancheon in greater, however, Korean endemic species, introduced species, habitat diversity and some characters of Gilancheon were favorable mostly. It was ease to sustain stable aqutic ecosystem because of assesment score was very small as the result of assesment at Gilancheon more than down stream of Imha dam. Seventeen fish species were belonging three orders and four families with dominant species as pale chub which were living in the aggregate gathering site of Gamcheon with sand river bed approximately. The dominance index was 81.8, diversity index was 0.9, species evenness was 0.3, species richness was 2.6, the frequency of Korean endemic species was 41.2%(seven species) as result of ichthyofaunal analysis at the aggregate gathering site at the Gamcheon. Twenty-two fish species were belonging three orders and seven families with dominant species as pale chub which were living at the Gamcheon as reference site with sand river bed approximately. The dominance index was 62.9, diversity index was 15, species evenness was 0.4, species richness was 3.4, the frequency of Korean endemic species was 22.7%(five species) and the frequency of introduced species was 3.6% (three species) as result of ichthyofaunal analysis at the Gamcheon as reference site The species number and the species diversity were descending, so stream was disturbed by aggregate gathering at the Gamcheon during survey. More stable ichthyofauna reference site of aggregate gathering at the Gamcheon was sustaining so ichthyofaunal change was less than aggregate gathering site at the Gamcheon. Naive stability aggregate gathering site at the Gamcheon was assumed with disturbance in view of the reference site at the Gamcheon was appeared rather higher than aggregate gathering site at the Gamcheon, as the result of ichthyofaunal total assesment throughout whole items. As the result of this study was method and application for assesment of stream ecosystem using ecological characteristic analyses of fish, the possibility of evaluating tool for riparian ecosystem applicated to ichthyofau
