Objective : This study translated Home Safety Self-Assessment Tool (HSSAT) in Korean language to adapt it to the elderly above sixty-five and verified its reliability and validity. Objective : This study translated Home Safety Self-Assessment Tool (HSSAT) in Korean language to adapt it to the elderly above sixty-five and verified its reliability and validity. After evaluation, it suggests solutions that could help prevent falling accident with the client-centered tool. Method : For the adaptation of HSSAT, Korean-translated Version of Home Safety Self-Assessment Tool was translated, its understanding was verified, suitability and importance were investigated, and translation committee was conducted and back translation completed this process. 227 home care elderly who are above 65 living in the community were evaluated. For the verification of convergent validity, Pearson correlation coefficient was used. For the verification of reliability, internal consistency coefficient using Cronbach's alpha was utilized. For the verification of reliability between examination and reexamination, Pearson correlation coefficient was used. Also, for the verification of reliability between inspectors, Pearson correlation coefficient was utilized to analyze. Paired t-test was carried out to compare before and after applying solution to 10 people. Result : After verification of understanding, all questions’ score resulted around 4 points. The scores distributed between 4.00±0.67 and 4.32±0.47. Content Validity Index resulted high number which was .94. After verification of convergent validity, between the total score of K-HSSAT and each domain of CHFH, the correlation coefficient ranged from .232 to .520. Also, in four domains: structure problems domain .232, room and kitchen domain .520, toilet and bathroom domain .418, surroundings of house .271, they all showed meaningful positive correlation(p<.01). The internal consistency coefficient, cronbach's α value about all questions of K-HSSAT resulted .89. After the verification of reliability between examination and reexamination, all 9 domains showed meaningful correlation statistically(p<.01)(p<.05). After the verification of reliability between inspectors, all 9 domains showed meaningful correlation statistically(p<.01). After the researcher suggested solution of K-HSSAT and compared before and after, the results showed meaningful difference statically(p<.01). Before application, the score resulted 17.40±4.55, and after application the score resulted 12.70±3.26. Conclusion : The validity and reliability of Korean-translated Version of Home Safety Self-Assessment Tool were confirmed. K-HSSAT. Also, K-HSSAT is proved as tool that has diversity for not only evaluating falling environment danger of elderly’s home but also for environmental modification. ，免费韩语论文，韩语论文 |
