The Purpose of this study is to re-define the category of Korean Culture Education, to set the education goals for that, and to propose appropriate methods of Korean culture education to enhance the educational effect of Korean Cultural Education. Foreign Students who have Academic Purposes are required to play both a role as global citizens in the era of globalization and a role as multicultural society members due to the transformation of korea into a multicultural society. They will return to their countries and to be a cultural bridge between korea and their countries when they finish their studies in Korea. Therefore, Korean Language and Korean Cultural Education should be conducted to make them as global talents. However, Current Korean language education for academic purpose is conducted by perspective of language education. Korean cultural education is only used as a method to improve Korean communication skills. Even, Korean cultural education is conducted in Assimilative style that explains and experiences Korean language and culture. When people with different cultures communicate, cultural understanding of their opponents should be based on them. When language is regarded as a cultural product, Korean language should be included in the Korean culture and should be done within the category of Korean culture education. In addition, Korean cultural education should expand its outreach to multicultural education so that foreign students who are under the threat of identity through the education method of in Assimilative style can be as global talents without cultural stress. Also, In order to achieve the re-set goals of Korean culture education, we proposed the necessity of Korean culture education method based on 'empathy‘ In this study, the definition of empathy that is emphasized when presenting the method of Korean cultural education is presented variously by scholars. I believe empathy is 'the process of understanding others' emotions in terms of others and expressing those emotions with the most similar emotions to others, though it is not an exact match'. I think that Understanding the emotions of others in the context of others is called 'cognitive empathy', The most similar emotions to other people is called 'Affective empathy' and the expression of these feeling is called 'Practical empathy'. In addition, we do not require cognitive empathy consistently in this process, Cognitive empathy plays a role as a catalyst for Affective empathy, and Affective empathy is an important emotional mechanism that Practical empathy. Based on the concept of empathy, I designed a Korean culture education model based on 'empathy'. The model of Korean culture education based on 'empathy' consists of five stages : The model of Korean culture education based on 'empathy' consists of five stages: 'Sensual cultural contact', 'antipathy Culture Experience', 'Understanding Cognitive Culture', 'Affective Culture Acceptance', 'Practical Culture Adaptation' Respectively. In order to confirm the validity of the method of Korean culture education based on 'empathy' applied to the Korean culture education model based on 'empathy', 15 students having a proficiency level of Korean language were taught 'Korean culture for gender role'. Lesson result not only learners acquire knowledge of other cultures including korean culture, it shows that it can solve cultural stress effectively that can no be solved by understanding only perception which is based on feeling of empathy. The contents of the lesson, the evaluation method, and the learner variables were discussed for Complementary point. The purpose of this study is to extend the scope of Korean culture education to the multicultural education, to re-define the purpose and goal of Korean culture education and to search for a new method of Korean culture education based on 'empathy' And to provide basic data and information on the educational effectiveness test by presenting examples of the actual class.
