Since China and South Korea established diplomatic relation, South Korean enterprises have come into China and have developed in Chinese market quickly. At the same time, the communication between China and South Korea have been expanded and the South Korea fad has been popular in China. Therefore, there are more and more demand of qualified person who understands Korean well for Chinese enterprises. As a result, because the increasing demand of Korean education, it is increasing that the research of Korean education in China and the number of universities and colleges who set up Korean major.
This centers on universities and colleges in Guangzhou to research the found, developement and cause of Korea major in Chinese universities and colleges. In the , there are three focuses in Korean major of Guangzhou universities and colleges.
Firstly, there are many researchs for the Korean major in Chinese universities and colleges, however, most of them is limited to Shandong, Beijing and Shangha and almost no research is for Guangzhou in which there are more and more Korean major set up. The factors such as society, geography and economy are difference between North China and South China, therefore, these factors of Korean major in universities and colleges are difference between North China and South China.
Secondly, as a proportion of Korean major in four-year universities and three-year colleges,韩语论文题目,the distribution of four-year universities in the three biggest cities in China is Beijing,Guangzhou and Shanghai,which is arranged from the high to the low, and the distribution of three-year colleges in the three biggest cities in China is Guanzhou,Shanghai and Beijing, which is arranged from the high to the low. Although the distribution of universities and colleges Guangzhou is lower than Beijing and Shanghai,Korean major in three-year colleges Guangzhou is highe than them.
Finally, the first Korean major in China is set up by Peking University. This Korean major is found before the establishment of diplomatic relation between China and Korea. After China and South Korea established diplomatic relation, Korean major has been set up in Shanghai universities and colleges. Until 2002, the first Korean major was set up in Guangzhou by Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. However, Korean major is devolping rapidly in Guangzhou. As a result, it causes many problems, therefore, it is necessary that research these problems.
At the beginning, this will analyse the related researchs. And then, this will analyse the basic condition of Korean major in the four-year universities and two or three-year colleges. At the end, this will analyse extincting problems of the Korean major in Guangzhou universities and colleges, and offere proposals.
This is basic on related Korean major theory to analyse the basic condition of universities and colleges,educational content,educational characteristics and existing problems of the universities and colleges which set up Korean major in Guangzhou.
There are 4 four-year universities and 5 two or three-year colleges which set up Korean major in Guangzhou. The educational purpose and content of these universities and colleges as follows:
The first, in the educational purpose, Korean major in four-year universities centers on promoting Korean ability, so the most of credits are set up for promoting language ability (such as listening, speaking, writing and translation). The promoting of language ability is focus on works and expressions for everyday use in commerce and trade, hotel management, tourism and so on, so it is focus on practical ability. On the contrary, two or three-year colleges are focus on promoting foundation ability. The educational purpose of Korean major in two or three-year colleges is helping students to pass the intermediate level exam of TOPIK, even pass the senior level exam of TOPIK. The education process is not phase learning but promoting basic language ability.
The second, in the educational content, the four-year universities develop the cooperation and communication with South Korean universities, colleges and enterprises to practice Korean. The activities such as “2/2”, “3/1”or School-Enterprise Cooperation are not only for promoting vocabulary and grammer, but also for promoting practical talents. However, the two or three-year colleges will send the students to Korean universities and colleges after them have basic Korean. The approach can not promote students’Korean ability and practical ability.
There are some problems in the Guangzhou 9 universities and colleges who have set up Korean major, for example,韩语毕业论文,short of high level degree, training approach is simple and level of teachers is low. This is researching for improving these problems.
