The Purpose of this study is to find out identity of Korean Classifier(YangSa) and Chinese numeral(BunRyuSa), and then try to contrast and analysis about both of them. The main purpose of this study is assistance to Chinese teachers and students for teaching and study Korean Classifier more easily. this study desire that Chinese students will learning Korean Classifier more easily and use correctly. Therefore in this study, reestablish and reclassification about Korean Classifier and Chinese numeral, ultimately analysis its common and difference by contrast. through this way this study want to improve about understanding of Korean Classifier and Chinese numeral. so it will helpful to efficient Korean study. To investigate Korean Classifier, focus on meaning and exemplifications and look up the <표준국어대사전> publishing by ‘The National Institute of the Korean Language (국립국어원)’. To investigate Chinese numeral, look up the major HSK vocabulary which standard form of modern Chinese studying. The classification way is dependence on 채완(1990), however this study make detail difference. The common and difference of conception, function, classification system, usage, use in grammar between Korean Classifier and Chinese numeral through this study. Almost Korean Classifier is overall style on the other hand Chinese numeral is more subdivision than Korean Classifier. Thus Korean student are get difficulty in Chinese studying. Chinese students aren’t get difficulty in Korean Classifiers form Chinese character, nevertheless Korean inherent Classifiers are exist in Korean Classifier. Chinese students are get difficulty form numerous Korean inherent Classifier and its correlationless with Chinese. In conclusion, do not confuse Korean Classifier and Chinese numeral by Chinese students through this study.
