This conducts a comprehensive study on the corresponding relationship between Chinese adverbials and Korean adverbials and the impact on the meaning of sentence if the distribution of adverbial changed.
These findings suggest that Chinese adverbials and Korean adverbials have the following similarities and differences theoretically. From the perspective of system theory, Korean and Chinese adverbial are both before predicate and modify predicate, and arbitrary and necessary. From the perspective of meaning,
Chinese adverbials and Korean adverbials both have a variety of words to act as and express a variety of meanings. From the perspective of corresponding relationship, not all the Chinese adverbials and Korean adverbials have one-to-one relationship.
The study on the correspondence problem of Chinese adverbials and Korean adverbials shows that, the Chinese adverbials which can act as Korean adverbials are adverbials of time, adverbials of place, adverbials of degree, adverbials of state, and adverbials of manner,
while the Korean adverbials which can act as Chinese adverbials are adverbials of time, adverbials of place, adverbials of manner, and adverbials of result.
The study on the relation of adverbials and predicates indicates that Korean adverbials’ patterns are different according to different predicates.
On the basis of translation, Chinese adverbials can act as adverbials,predicates, objects and attributives in Korean.
From the view that the position changes of adverbials on affecting the meaning of the sentence, we know that modal adverbs and time adverbs can be adverbials in a sentence. The adverbs which can be adverbials in a sentence are mainly to express the ideas and attitudes of a speaker and to emphasize it. Adverbials have a close
relationship with predicates. Mainly, it relates to the meaning of the adverbial. If the adverbials have a distance with the predicates, the adverbials will lose dependence. Therefore, the adverbials can not change their positions randomly.
