Quotes refer to conveyance based on objective and specific content of thoughts, utterances or letters for mutual communication. Therefore, quotation education in terms of morphological structure is of vital necessity. Improvement of communicating and exchanging ability between the listener and the speaker by means of intensive education in spark of morphological quotation application is a significant component in conversational education.
This thesis conducts a contrast of quotations respectively in Korean and Chinese and analysis based upon the previous comparison to figure out a more effective educational program aiming at indirect quotations.
As the part of introduction, the first chapter is mainly composed of purpose of research, methods of research and antecedent research results of such kind etc.
The second chapter gives an initial interpretation on separate category and feature of both Korean and Chinese quotations. Secondly, it conducts a research on subsequent changes based on the hypothesis when direct quotations are transferred into indirect quotations and issues worthy to be noticed. In the final part of the chapter a conclusion of similarities and differences entrenched in Korean and Chinese quotations is drawn with the aforesaid reference of combined narrations namely direct quotations, indirect quotations and indirect quotations derived from direct quotations. Similarities thereof concentrate on punctuation marks, personal pronouns, nouns of time, nouns of places, referents and directive verbs of locomotion. Differences mainly refer to comparative results deduced from quotation structural formation, omission of sentence structures, article structural omission and vocabularies etc.
The third chapter targets at mutual communicative capability enforcement at the basis of respective analysis and comparison between Chinese and Korean quotation structures and types contraposing intractable quotation application for foreign students. A more effective education scheme is discussed. The forth chapter serves at last to make a briefing on former content of the second and third chapters.
For other content this thesis happens to miss out or better effective education plan in respect of quotation education, continual attention and enduring efforts for proceed research is guaranteed.
