The notion 'time' in our lives occupies an important place. We think of the day, and make an appointment for the weekend, and arrange a diet plan for one month, and make one year's learning schedule . Furthermore, we can express the overall life events through time representation in writing and speaking. Of course, time is not only significant for us in our life and but also it is important, needless to say, to express it by writing and speaking.
In case of foreign students', they want to use more accurate time to speak through the Korean language, for this, their life in Korea and Korean-related life will continue well done. I would like to help it, so I consist of this as parts of the representation of the time in hours adverbs and synonyms for the following research with the graded hours through my study.
As the first chapter, when we are communicating with others, Korean students consider vocabulary as the most important thing so I look for the importance of learning time adverb and time adverb of synonym as the one of alternatives to improve vocabulary ability. Besides, I describe how to make a study with research objects and methods from 6 species existing in the Korean vocabulary textbooks which are currently used and 9 kinds of textbooks that is used at the University. In previous studies in this , I divide the existing studies that are required to study as the thesaurus, the time adverb, vocabulary study.
Chapter 2, to know the theoretical background of time adverb of synonyms, I examined the concept of synonym and meaning in relating the thesaurus semantic meaning. In addition, I am looking for survey for the definition, classifying and corresponding of synonyms of time adverb that keeps going. So, based of this, I can make a construction of basis for post process of study.
Chapter 3, I analyze the existing researches which include the time adverb for Korean learning and with the results I select the thesaurus of time adverb. In this process with six existing studies ,each time I am extracting adverbs of time and then find it listed in the thesaurus. In addition, I analyze nine sorts, which is total 57 books, of the Korean language textbooks used in the current Korean educational institutions. First, in each book time for each adverb beginner, intermediate, and advanced were divided through the process of extract. On the basis of this, I found the synonym of time in beginner, intermediate, and advanced textbooks of the time. After this, I discuss the importance of time adverb as the traits, problems and acquisition of words of text books
Thus, in Chapter 3, verse 3, I analyze and compare the current books of learning korean language that contained synonyms of time adverb and korean textbook. So I can select the time adverb and synonym and make a list as <Table 3-45> presented.
I would like to help foreigners to acquire easily synonyms of time adverb. However, this study places a limit upon just special vocabulary books, dictionaries, and textbooks at Universities. Moreover, It is not perfect although the groups of synonyms are divided by academical persons. From now on, I expect to watch a lot of systematic vocabulary learning phase classifications, so I hope that this effects on various the synonyms studies as adaptive steps for students to study.
