The purpose of this is to study the method of teaching north Vietnamese students the Korean Consonants Pronunciation. First, an fallible pronunciation errors for north Vietnamese students are prediced by contrasting phoneme of Korean and Vietnamese, and the real errors are researched by means of the recording. Also, this provides an error rate and a type of errors of consonants pronunciation by analyzing the predicted errors and the real errors. It is found that Vietnamese students have difficulty in discriminating unaspirated and glottalized, aspirated consonants. Especially, the error rate of /ㅅ, ㅆ/ and /ㅈ, ㅉ, ㅊ/ among the initial consonants is higher than the error rate of the others. Out of final consonants, the error rate of /ㄹ/ is analyzed high. When students are classified according to the level of learning, it is found that beginners generally have many problems in discriminating unaspirated and glottalized, aspirated consonants, and have a high error rate about /ㄹ/ among the final consonants. For advanced leaners, it is found that an error rate of /ㅅ, ㅆ/ is the highest of an error rate of the others, and an error rate of /ㄹ/ of final consonant and /ㅈ, ㅉ, ㅊ/ of initial consonant are quite high, respectively.
