This study, as only a few studies have applied the awareness of aviation safety information targeting airline passengers on aviation safety field, has been intended to investigate the influence of airline passenger's perceived aviation safety information, by setting as an independent variable, and applying Ajzen's 'The theory of planned behaviour'(hereinafter TPB), that has been utilized to forecast human behaviour, on airline passenger's safety behavioral intention. The constructive factors, perceived aviation safety information by passenger, has been reviewed, then the influential relationship with each variables of TPB, i.e. attitude of model, subjective norm, perceived behaviour control and behavioral intention, have been reviewed as well. The air transport business, which has been growing continuously up to this day world widely, has been settled as a representative transport mean in Korea, but in fact the most important factor, safety, has been disregarded as of the overheated service competition. Especially, the scale, economic and fatal loss of airline accident are very big, once happened, though airline has been perceived as a relatively safer transport mean as the frequency of actual accident is pretty lower comparing with other transport means under same actual operating hours, but IATA has set the airline safety code and guideline and been emphasizing to follow it not only by aviation industry employees but also by airline passengers. As passenger's higher perception of safety information is a main factor to increase survival rate from airline accident, airline companies have responsibility to provide necessary safety information, how to cope with emergency situation such as airline accident, to passengers and let them perceive safety information correctly. For this study, to investigate the influential relationship of perceived passenger's aviation safety information on the aviation safety behavioral intention, a questionnaire survey targeting airline passengers experiencing air travel within recent 1 year period has been carried out during Apr. 05 - Jun. 25. Among 352 collected enquete sheets total effective 341 sheets, after deleting 11 sheets, were used for the empirical analysis. All collected data were processed through statistical package program SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 for reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, second confirmatory factor analysis, confirmatory analysis for item aggregated measurement model, correlation analysis and structural equating model analysis. By the result of this study the influential relation between the passenger's perceived level of provided aviation safety information and the desire of safety behaviour based on that perception has been reviewed, then airline industry and Government, by applying variables of TPB, intend to verify the way of influencing on passenger's perception, behaviour, subjective norm and perceived behaviour control, and also to investigate the influence on the desire of safety behaviour, so that to find a way to utilize each variable. The summary of the study results are as follows: First, according to the analyzing result of the influencing relation between aviation safety information awareness and aviation safety behaviour, it has been proved that all four sub factors of perceived aviation safety information, i.e. emergency equipment using guideline, context awareness and response, safety regulation and safety information channel, were giving positive(/) and significant influence on aviation safety behaviour. Second, according to the analyzing result of the influence by perceived aviation safety information on subjective norm of aviation safety, it has been proved that all four sub factors of perceived aviation safety information, i.e. emergency equipment using guideline, context awareness and response, safety regulation and safety information channel, were giving positive(/) and significant influence on the subjective norm of aviation safety. Third, according to the analyzing result of the influence by perceived aviation safety information and perceived behaviour control of aviation safety, it has been proved that all four sub factors of aviation safety information awareness, i.e. emergency equipment using guideline, context awareness and response, safety regulation and safety information channel, were giving positive(/) and significant influence on the perceived behaviour control of aviation safety. Fourth, according to the analyzing result of the influence by hypothesis of applying TPB on the aviation safety, i.e. aviation safety behaviour, subjective norm, and perceived behaviour control, and desire of aviation safety behaviour, it has been proved that factors aviation safety behaviour and perceived behaviour control gave positive(/) and significant influence on desire of aviation safety behaviour, but the hypothesis, subjective norm of aviation safety gives positive(/) and significant influence, has been rejected. Fifth, from the analyzing result of influence of perceived aviation safety information on the aviation safety behaviour intention, it has been proved that the influence was positive(/) and significant. From the empirical analysis result it was proved that passenger's aviation safety information is a proper tool to explain aviation safety behaviour intention by TPA, and important deducted implications by verifying study hypotheses were as follows; First, result of this study, researching the relationship between passenger's perceived aviation safety information and behavioral intention, could be referred as a reference data for future study about airline passenger's safety consciousness, safety culture and safety behaviour, and it would be an academic significance of this study. Second, the correlation of perceived aviation safety information on attitude, subjective norm and perceived behaviour control was significant, but the correlation between subjective norm, a explanatory variable of TPA, was not significant, so it was identified that the influential relation was low. This could be interpreted that under specific circumstances, safety behaviour, own will gave more significant correlation to the behavioral intention than recommendation from others. Lastly, while reviewing aviation accidents, there has been no aviation safety briefing for passengers before landing, the highest frequency period of aviation accident, though it has been done before take-off. May be it would be an airline's regulation to minimize passenger's inconvenience and aiming to provide the best service convenience to passengers, but Government should organize basic guideline for safety and institutionally manage it, and provide environment for airline could do its best for passenger safety and delegate related rights.
