The purpose of Korean multi-cultural policy and education is to build the harmonious multi-cultural society for the social integration. Multi-cultural education should have purpose all members of society to pursue the respect to subculture on the basis of understanding and knowledge about other cultures. Therefore, this study investigated multi-cultural adolescent's education and their experiences in career development in depth to find the practical mechanism in their social field and the effect on their learning and career development from a social standpoint. From this findings, we will identify the structure of symbolic meaning about multi-dimensional relational context in social field. Total eight multi-cultural adolescents who are high school students in Dae-gu were interviewed by Narratives of Real-Life Moral Conflict and Choice and collected data was analyzed by the process of Oevermann's objective hermeneutics. The interests for study were established from each cases collected and the type of test was finalized followed by multiple analysis process to generate expanded interpretation of meaning. The most persuasive and rational hypothesis was generated from this analysis and common structure of multi-cultural adolescent's experiences were re-arranged by comparative analysis. First, position buried in life with urgent needs: Does the future of multi-cultural adolescents exist? Multi-cultural adolescents are not free from social and financial urgent needs. Skholè, known as leisure is the first factor for pure thinking or intellectual perspectives in the field of study. Educational skholè should be provided to all students since it is a fundamental requirement in the field of learning. However, the study field of multi-cultural adolescents is in camouflaged justice and social differences and each characteristics were not considered. Multi-cultural adolescents specify 'position-having' by themselves in these social field and they can survive only if they accumulate the class properties in Korea. Therefore, the education and policy for multi-cultural adolescents should consider these asymmetric unfavorable situation. Second, shadow struggle in the cave: what is the truth of conspired struggle of culture hiding? Social field of multi-cultural adolescents has similar phenomenon with shadow struggle in the cave which was compared in the Plato's theory of the state. The shadow wavering before our eyes is cognized as if it is a real world or people should participate in the hiding game for surviving. It means that multi-cultural background is considering something to hide to survive in Korea. However paradoxically, multi-cultural society could lead desirable social unification when different cultures exist with subcultures in harmony in on society. Confidential hiding game of culture means that paradoxical social homogeneity and artificial order in separatism aspects are structured in the institutionalized educational space. If you believe that the change to multi-cultural society is inevitable trend, you need to get out of the conspiracy from shadow struggle in cave to hide multi-cultural background. It is needed to understand the world in a multi-dimensional aspects and to make institutional policy to open the field based-on the organic communication and mutual understanding among the various subcultures. Third, the truth of multi-cultural policies in distorted mirror: For whom is this multi-culture policy intended? The exhibitional policy unsuitable for multi-cultural society is processing in multi-cultural education. Adolescent period is very important to form a general and professional capability to settle successfully in society in the future. Therefore, the policy for vocational training and practical career education is needed to enter to the labor market continuously. However, detailed plan is not considered for multi-cultural adolescents's career at all. Policy decision maker should lead the effective and efficient policies to reflect the requirement of recipients, situational context and changed environment. Fourth, the law of unintended result: What is the truth of paradoxical becoming others in the similar actions? Symbolic mechanism in multi-cultural space is expressed as an unintended result of becoming others. It is justified that multi-cultural adolescents should participate in the game of 'becoming Korean' to live successfully in Korea. It means there is a fear for mixing under our society. The truth of hiding game of their different culture is the expression of systemic desire for similarity and homogeneity. This active practice generates unintended result of becoming others. Fifth, lost stepping-stones: Is the stepping-stone safe for multi-cultural adolescents's future? multi-cultural adolescents experience difficulties in planning and deciding their future plan because they don't have support system and information network. Adolescents period is discussed as an important period related to career development. So. their social characteristics and position (nationality, economy, religion, sex, academic background and support system) should be considered in discussing their career development and career identity. Fundamental and practical support is needed for multi-cultural adolescents based-on the understanding of the characteristics of complex field they are in to support their social support system.
