The purpose of this study was to examine a mediating effect of sociocultural attitudes towards appearance on the relationship between SNS involvement and objectified body consciousness on college students. The participants of this study were 411 college students. The data were analyzed by t-test, correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. Results of this study were as follows. First, there is a gender difference in SNS involvement, sociocultural attitudes towards appearance, and objectified body consciousness. Second, there is a positive correlation between SNS involvement, sociocultural attitudes towards appearance, and objectified body consciousness. Third, partial mediation effect of sociocultural attitudes towards appearance appeared in the relationship between SNS involvement and objectified body consciousness. This indicates that the frequent use of SNS can increase the awareness and internalization of sociocultural norms on appearance and can affect body surveillance and body shame. Therefore, this suggests that attention should be paid to this. Based on the results of the study, practical implications and suggestions for further research were discussed. ,韩语论文题目,韩语毕业论文 |
