Cutting-edge development in science and medical technology has brought improvement to the quality of life and extension of life expectancy along with economic growth, leading to an aging society worldwide. As the average life span extended, 'the era of centenarians' became real. In particular, baby boomers born between 1955 and 1963 are called active seniors as a new consumer group who actively invest themselves and pursue active life and culture. In other words, they are getting attention as bluesumers of a silver industry, which is considered to be a new market and business model occurred in a drastic change of demographic structure. This study analyzed active senior women and safari jumper designs, and suggested a safari jumper design that satisfies their lifestyle and consumption needs, considering that it is necessary to study the development of a safari jumper design targeting these active senior women. In addition, the preference of active senior women for a safari jumper in our country was presented as a basic data for brands targeting active senior women. The contents and method of the study were proceeded by conducting literature reviews and empirical studies. In the literature reviews, domestic and foreign precedents and related books, news articles, fashion magazines, journals, research s, and online materials are analyzed. In empirical studies, a visit survey at women senior brand store and in-depth interview with 5 sales managers and 10 active senior women consumers aged 55 or older were conducted in order to find out which item active senior women wear most frequently when they go out. In the first survey, a safari jumper was selected as an item which active senior women prefer to wear when they go out. Then, in order to verify the results of the preliminary interview, a street survey was added by taking a photo of what these consumers actually purchased and wore in 7 locations in Seoul. The colors, lengths, and collar types were classified by photographs of 1,232 consumers. With respect to front details, waist details, pocket details, cuff details, chest details, shoulder details of a safari jumper, it was not easy to identify just from the photos taken on the street, so an assistant counted separately on each detail type board having been prepared in advance. The results of the study are as follows. First, the survey revealed active senior women preferred a safari jumper which was comfortable, easy to wash and maintain, practical, and fashionable while complementing the defects of their body shapes. Second, in terms of the color of a safari jumper, active senior women preferred navy the most, and then followed by brown, black, gray, beige, green, orange, and red. Third, active senior women preferred a medium-length safari jumper the most, and then followed by long length and short length. Fourth, active senior women preferred a stand collar (band color) with opening the front most, followed by a hood type, a convertible collar, and a mandarin color (china color). Fifth, active senior women preferred an inner zipper / an outside placket style most among 4 front details of a safari jumper, followed by a zipper without a placket, snap buttons without a placket and buttons. Sixth, active senior women preferred a tunnel in the waist / an inner string style most among 4 waist details of a safari jumper, followed by , a belt made of same cloth, without any decoration. Seventh, active senior women preferred oblique pockets most among 5 pocket details of a safari jumper, followed by flap oblique pockets, flap/patch pockets, simple patch pockets, and zipper pockets. Eighth, active senior women preferred simple cuffs most among 5 cuff details of a safari jumper, followed by cuffs decorated with beads, cuffs turned up with different cloth, cuffs belted with same cloth and cuffs with a blouson band. Ninth, active senior women preferred a cutting line / stitch style most among 4 chest details of a safari jumper, followed by attached wings, without any decoration and with pocket decoration. Tenth, active senior women preferred a shoulder style without an epaulet predominantly over with an epaulet. Also, information about safari jumper material for the development of safari jumper design was also needed. Therefore, 2nd interview was conducted by using jumper material type boards with 5 managers who had joined in the first in-depth interview and 5 material designers who were currently working for some brands, and then 5 kinds of material such as poly taffeta, poly memory, NP crease, NC span, and TR gabardine were selected. By reflecting the results of 1st and 2nd in-depth surveys including the photo analysis and applying the F/W trend in 2017, total 9 designs for a safari jumper for active seniors were drawn which were classified by a lace matching theme and a coloring theme. And 3 safari jumpers were actually made out of these 9 designs. First, a medium-length safari jumper with a stand collar (band collar) and poly memory material was made focusing on femininity by matching lace. Second, a short-length safari jumper was made using NP crease material, which has been characterized by applying coloring to the inside the stand collar (band color) and the hem of sleeves. Third, a long-length safari jumper was made using poly taffeta material, which has been characterized by coloring inside the hood and the front placket, the decoration of sleeves beads, and inside the pocket. The results of the study have its meaning in that it designed and developed the design from the perspective of customers by analyzing active senior consumers. Also, it suggested an actual seasonal planning method different from a theoretical approach applying the existing trend of the original place as a trend analysis data without any modification. Furthermore, the study can help the development of our fashion market by contributing the season sales increase of the brands for active seniors and minimizing the leakage of designs which don't lead to sales, as the study suggests a helpful data for design planning which hit the mark of sales expectation. It appeared that the collar names of a safari jumper used in the actual field such as clothing markets or brand makers were different from the names used in academic world. Therefore, it suggested that it's required to standardize names between the academic world and makers in the future. A future design study dealing with a safari jumper for S/S or a safari padding jumper for F/W season can be suggested because of the limitation of period of this study. This study was conducted only in fall, so color preference could be different if it was conducted at different times. After this study, these kinds of study can be expected to contribute to seasonal planning as basic data of the overall design of safari jumpers for active senior women's brand. ,韩语论文,韩语论文范文 |
