'Innovation school' refers to autonomous school designated to operate autonomous school culture following the characteristics of school unit as part of school reformation policy operated by each local education office. This study deals with teaching guide utilizing creative Pansori subjecting seventh graders considering the creative intelligence competence which is one of the class innovation field of Innovation School. For this, the study introduced philosophical background and features of Innovation School, Until now, autonomous curriculum and text book for Innovation School has not been made, so the study reviewed current curriculum, 18 types of text book and teacher’s guideline and composed creative Pansori class elements considering the level of study subject. The objective of creative intelligence education is to nurture creative democratic citizen by educating creative expression ability, cooperative problem solving ability and cultural knowledge. To develope these abilities, this study planned a teaching by creative activities which students can invent their own class rather than a typical concept-focused teaching. For the study, the classroom was arranged in ‘ㄷ’ shape to create smooth communication between teacher and students, and reenacted Pansori madang using enough space at the center of class room. The class had no text book, but let students write down individual goal, class contents and their feelings to make them fully concentrated on the process. After the group presentation, the class shared pros and cons of each other to expand their critical thinking. I suggest a four-session teaching guide realizing class culture for 'both teachers and students to learn’, the goal of Innovation School. The teaching guide of study is composed of total 4 sessions; appreciation, expression, habituation of current curriculum and creative intelligence. On first session, to help overall understanding about Pansori, the conceptual learning is planned through appreciation of musical piece 《Jajin Sarangga》 and teacher’s demonstration. From the next session, activities are added to expand the concept of Pansori. On second session, students directly sang 《Hwachojang Taryeong》 by reading the melody score, and compared the dramatic music of Korea and Western culture. On third session, the activity changing components of Pansori along with conceptual learning of creative Pansori is programmed. On fourth session, students chose one of the five Pansori piece they learned to revise the original piece and make preview of Pansori to improve their cultural knowledge. This study aims for real learning.
