Regrettably, it is hard to find our traditional culture easily today around us, as our life becomes globalized and Westernized; rather, tradition is felt something rare and considered a special material. It is important to understand and accept culture of other countries in accordance to globalization, but it is more important to keep our culture and let the world know it. Understanding the past and expressing it in the modern artistic style is not simply accepting and enjoying the past style blindly but awakening life and culture of people who lived in the past and containing national emotion in the contemporary Korean art again. Using our traditional ‘toe-hwa technique ― technique of decoration over the body with paintings such as flowers and birds ― the flower and bird painting, a part of the folk painting, was modernistically reorganized, and a white porcelain of the practical and formative design, which could be used in the contemporary real life, was made. As for the design, using the colorful engobe toe-hwa technique, the flower and bird painting that expresses Korean characteristics well was modernistically reinterpreted and decorated the body; as for the form of the porcelain, traditional Korean roof style became the lid’s design motif of the white porcelain. It was made by the jiggering method. ‘The white porcelain of the flower and bird painting decoration by the toe-hwa technique’was not only practical, but it also made traditional sense of formation and splendid and bright colors harmonized for us to feel the modernistic sense. The toe-hwa technique presented in this study developed and applied traditional simple technique to be suitable for the modern life and pattern; the flower and bird painting, a genre of paintings in Joseon Dynasty, was used as the decoration element to make the white porcelain. Through this, this study tries to develop traditional patterns and decoration technique into modernistic and contribute to a variety of our contemporary porcelain expressions and development of porcelain making by the idea of “Wen Gu Zhi Xin”, which means that we should learn the past to make novelty.
‘온고지신(溫故知新)’은 ‘옛 것을 익히고 그것을 미루어서 새 것을 알다’ 라는 뜻으로 전통적인 것이나 새로운 것이나 어느 한 쪽에만 치우지지 않고 고루 알아야 한다는 의미이다. 현... ‘온고지신(溫故知新)’은 ‘옛 것을 익히고 그것을 미루어서 새 것을 알다’ 라는 뜻으로 전통적인 것이나 새로운 것이나 어느 한 쪽에만 치우지지 않고 고루 알아야 한다는 의미이다. 현재 우리의 생활이 세계화, 서구화가 되어감에 따라 안타깝게도 우리의 전통 문화는 주변에서 쉽게 찾기가 어려워지고 오히려 사람들에게 희소하게 느껴져 특별한 소재라고 생각되어진다. 세계화에 발맞추어 다른 나라의 문화를 이해하고 받아들이는 것도 중요하지만, 우리의 문화를 지키고 세계에 알리는 것은 더욱 중요하다. 과거의 것을 이해하고, 현대적 미술양식으로 다시 실현시킨다는 것은 단지 과거의 양식을 맹목적으로 수용하고, 향수하는 것이 아니라 과거에 살던 사람들의 삶과 문화를 다시 일깨우고 민족의 정서를 오늘날 한국 미술에 다시 담아내는 것에 있다. 과거 우리나라 전통 도자 장식 기법인 퇴화기법을 사용하여 민화 중 한 부분인 화조도를 현대적으로 재구성하고, 현대 실생활에서 쓰일 수 있는 실용적인 조형적 디자인의 백자 합을 제작하였다. 색화장토를 사용한 퇴화기법으로 한국적 특색을 잘 나타내고 있는 화조도를 현대적으로 재해석하여 시문하였고, 합의 형태는 한국 전통 건축양식을 모티브로 삼아 물레 성형하여 백자 합을 제작하였다. ‘퇴화문 화조화 백자 합’은 실용적인 용도뿐만 아니라 전통적 조형감각과 밝고 화려한 색채를 조화시켜 현대적 감각을 느낄 수 있게 하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 퇴화기법은 단순한 전통적인 기법을 현대생활 패턴에 맞게 발전시켜 응용하였으며, 조선시대의 회화의 한 장르인 화조화를 장식적 요소로 활용하여 백자 합을 제작하였다. 이를 통해 전통 문양과 장식기법을 현대적으로 발전시키고, 옛것을 익혀 새로운 것을 만들어 내는 ‘온고지신’으로서 현재 우리나라 도자표현의 다양성과 도자제작 기술의 발전에 기여하고자 한다. ，免费韩语论文，韩语论文 |
