The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence relationship between parental social support, self-esteem of parents with a disabled child and family health and to examine the moderating effect of self-esteem on the relationship between social support and family health outcomes. This study suggests a practical intervention plan for the improvement of family health of parents of children with disabilities by investigating the influence relationship and moderating effect on family health. The subjects of this study were parents of children with disabilities who live in three cities and four counties in Chungcheongbuk-do and the survey was conducted for five months from December 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016. The questionnaire was conducted by self-entry method. A total of 400 copies of the questionnaire were distributed and 335 copies of the 363 copies collected putting aside 28 questionnaires from insincere respondents were used for statistical analysis. Family healthiness, social support, and self-esteem measuring tools were used as the research tool. The sub-factors of family healthiness consisted of family bond and communication, problem-solving ability, and value system sharing. The sub-factors of social support were composed of emotional, informational, material and evaluation support. We performed frequency analysis, reliability and factor analysis using SPSS 22.0 statistical program as an analysis method. Three-step regression analysis was conducted on descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, simple/multiple regression analysis, and verification of control effect. All the statistical analysis were performed at significance level of p<0.05. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, it was confirmed that the social support of parents of children with disabilities positively affects family health. The higher the emotional and evaluation support which are the sub-factors of social support, the higher the bond among the family members which is one of the sub-factors of family healthiness. In addition, it has been found that emotional support was the only support that had a positive influence on communication between family members. Emotional and informational support positively influenced problem solving ability among family members. Informational support was the only support that did not affect the sharing of value system among family members. Second, the emotional, informational, material, and evaluation support positively affected self-esteem, which are the sub-factors of social support in the influence relationship between the social support of parents with disabilities and self-esteem. Third, self-esteem had a positive effect on family health in the influence relationship between self-esteem of parents with disabilities and family healthiness. Fourth, self-esteem appears to have a moderating effect on the influence relationship between information support factor, which is a sub-factor of social support, and family bond and communication between members, which are sub-factors of family healthiness. On the other hand, it was found that there was no moderating effect on self-esteem in the relationship between problem solving ability and value system sharing which are sub-factors of social support and family healthiness. Based on the results of the research, I suggested the practical intervention plan as follows. First, social support perceived by parents of children with disabilities was found to have a positive influence on the bond between family members, which is a sub-factor of family healthiness. Local governments need to establish a systematic family support service system, such as counseling, care for the disabled, and leisure activities. The special education support center of the local education office should operate diverse educational programs to improve the family health of parents of children with disabilities. Second, the social support perceived by parents of children with disabilities was found to have an influence on the communication between family members, which is a sub-factor of family healthiness. Therefore, the social welfare agencies in the local community should develop and operate a family program that utilizes the human resources of experts with the help of social welfare institutions to reduce family stress by improving communication between family members, and to improve the cohesiveness and adaptability of family members and the satisfaction of family relations. Third, social support perceived by parents of children with disabilities was found to have an influence on problem-solving ability among family members, which is a sub-factor of family healthiness. In order to enhance the ability to solve problems we must provide knowledge or information generated from the parents or the environment of parents of children with disabilities. Further, we require efforts from the government to provide welfare information such as providing information related to welfare and utilizing that information. Fourth, the social support perceived by parents of children with disabilities was found to have an influence on the sharing of the values of family members, which is a sub-factor of family healthiness. In order to improve family health, the government should provide a customized welfare delivery system as parents sharing their value system with their family members help them gain pride and self-esteem on their family and can have a positive impact on stress coping ability. Fifth, the self-esteem of parents of children with disabilities had an influence on family health, and it was found that there was a moderating effect on the relationship between informational support which is a sub-factor of social support and bond, communication between family members which are sub-factors of family healthiness. Therefore, the welfare center for disabled people in the local community is required to operate and support health related programs to improve self-esteem and family health of parents of disabled children by establishing a cooperation system in cooperation with public health centers, hospitals and schools. This research places significance on providing basic data on the practical intervention plan to construct a family support service system, to develop a family support program, to build a cooperation system with the related organizations in the local community, for government to build a customized welfare delivery system and to provide welfare related information. ,韩语论文题目,韩语论文题目 |
