Recently, in our culture, the influx of open sexual culture has brought many changes on. the adolescents’ perception of sex. Adolescent sexual culture has also turned into a more open relationship and a more eccentric sexual behavior as time goes by. Accordingly, sexual delinquency and sexual problems, such as sexual abuse, sexual harassment, sexual molestation, etc, have worsened these days. Thus, it is time to be concerned socially as the sexual delinquency among female adolescents has increased significantly. In the analysis of the preceding research, some of the female adolescents with sexual misconducts have anxieties in daily life, difficulties in trusting relationship and lack of empathy with others. These are caused by the sexual abuse they experienced in their childhood. More so, female adolescents with sexual misconducts have low self-esteem, difficulties in interpersonal relationships, lack of empathic abilities, etc. Above all these, the empathic abilities receive attention as an important area to intervene. Empathy, a kind of feeling that understands and feels another person’s experiences and points of view such as thoughts, emotions, feelings play a very important role in building relationships with other people. Therefore, the improvement of empathy is the most important factor that can lead to a decrease in the recurrence of sexual misconducts. This research, which is based on Empathy Theory formed by Marshall, etc.(1995), developed structure and content of the empathy enhancement program for female adolescents with sexual misconducts and evaluated its effectiveness. The entire process of developing the program applied the model of Intervention Research by Thomas & Rothman(1994). In other words, through the method of intervention study, the analysis problem of female adolescents with sexual misconducts, the information gathered from related field experts, and the implementation of the field experiment; finally, I have developed the empathy enhancement program for female adolescents with sexual misconducts. The research problems were: (1) What is the structure and content of empathy enhancement program on female adolescent with sexual misconducts? (2) Is the developed program effective in improving the empathic abilities of female adolescents with sexual misconducts? The evaluation results in the qualitative and the quantitative domain of the empathy enhancement program on female adolescent with sexual misconducts were: (1) The result of quantitative analysis through Wilcoxon’s signed-ranks test shows statistically significant enhancement in the area of emotional quotient response, interpersonal empathic response(imagination and personal pain) and empathic response of the victim. By this, the effectiveness of the empathy enhancement program on female adolescent with sexual misconducts is developed by this research. (2) The content analysis results show that empathic response increased from preliminary evaluation(session 1~3) to post evaluation(session 9~11), which is from 18 to 58, and drew a conclusion as concrete example of the empathic response. This compelled the participants to learn how to empathize with other people through the program. Based on the results of this research, this study presents the following implications on social welfare: (1) This research shows an academic implication to develop the first action field program based on the Intervention Research Method. In addition, this research also proposes the comprehensive and systematic research method to the development of the empathy enhancement program on female adolescents with sexual misconducts by implementing Empathy Theory formed by Marshall, etc(1995). (2) Through the agreement between school and specialized organization of female adolescent with sexual misconducts, a continuous follow-up care is required. (3) It needs the professional training to be able to intervene on female adolescent with sexual misconducts. (4) Because of the lack of adolescent understanding on sexual misconducts, continuous and systematic education should be arranged in the school curriculum. (5) The intervention of female adolescent with sexual misconducts should be achieved through the cooperation of various related community organizations such as school, We-center, social welfare center, community child center, youth shelter, sexual counseling office, etc. ,韩语论文,韩语论文网站 |
