It's doutful that ROK army is possible to conduct stability operations, and the factors caused by the operations could occur, so make a comparative study about the stability operations. Comparative studies are conducted by cases of the Korean war, Vietnam war, Lebanon and Iraq war. analyzed the success and failure cause of involving nations engaged and drew the development plan. The method of the study is researching the interior and abroad literature materials. The literature materials for study made use of Korean government and civilian institute, ROK PKO, internet, etc materials.
