The study is designed to seek for the systematic and realistic educational solutions and alternatives for the problems the youth who Immigrated to Korea accompanied with their parents. For the purpose of the study, next three research issues are focused on. Actual conditions and problems the immigrated youth confront and the examples of educational policies advanced multi-cultural nations adopted for immigrated youth and to find the direction of policy and alternatives for the immigrated youth in Korea who are placed in educational blind-spot.
First, how is the state of educational policies for immigrated youth in Korea? I survey it in two educational steps, pre-educational course and the regular course.
Second, how is the state of the educational policies of advanced multi-cultural nations for immigrated youth? and what is the lesson we to get?
Third, I suggest educational direction of the policy and alternatives for the immigrated youth.
This research is based on articles, books, s, and references dealing with the policies of Korea and other countries.
