The ratio of the elderly in the Korean population has been rising starkly and it is forecasted to reach 24% by 2030. The biggest cause of death for the elderly in 2013 was cancer, and it accounted for 34.5% of the total medical costs. With the entry into the super aged society, there will be various social issues that also occur. Among such issues, the health problem is expected to be the biggest issue that the society will have to deal with. Based on such background, this study proposes a standard for design guidelines of elderly playgrounds, which is a new concept, to maintain the physical and mental health of the elderly. First, the new conceptual elderly playground will be defined. Second, a standard will be proposed for the design guideline of elderly playgrounds. The purpose of the study was first established and then in the theoretical considerations, the entertainment culture of the elderly and playgrounds and exercise facilities for the elderly were examined. Afterwards, preliminary research was carried out through literary studies on existing exercise facilities for the elderly, remote medical diagnosis systems, U-healthcare for the elderly, elderly kinesiology, and laws on the social participation and playgrounds of the elderly. During the empirical research process, children's playgrounds and elderly's exercise facilities were compared and in-depth interviews were held with 10 senior citizens and 10 medical doctors. By linking the preliminary studies and empirical research results through this, the first standards for design standards for the elderly were presented. In the second guideline, verification was carried out through consultations with experts. A total of 15 experts were consulted and interviews were held with medical doctors, health care experts, welfare experts, administrative experts, and professional designers to draft the second design guideline standards. The conclusion acquired from this study aimed at establishing standards to create a design guideline for elderly playgrounds that would help improve the physical and mental health, as well as the social activities of the elderly through the concept of games. In future studies, more experts will be consulted through continued studies in areas needing supplementation in the standards and their opinions will be integrated to solve the issues with the elderly. ,韩语论文,韩语论文 |
