This compares Korean loanwords to Chinese loanwords and examines how Chinese learners of Korean language recognize Korean loanwords.
Korean language adopted the language of western Euperop based on English into its language. Such words have been 'Koreanized' and areno longer called foreign words but loanwords. Under the phonemic transcription rule, such words and transcribed and read like Korean words. Because of Korean language is a polysyllable language, but Chinese loanword mainly translate as meaning, so for Chinese students, a different transcription method used for Korean loanwords poses difficulty for them to decipher the meaning of a given word.
In part 2 of the , the differences that exist in understanding the concept of Korean and Chinese loanwords were examined as well as the transcription method of Korean loanwords and the word formation rule of Chinese loanwords, Korean loanwords were transcribed relatively systematically, consistent with the transcription method rule with few exceptions. Chinese loanwords, on the other hand, were not consistent or systematic in their transcribed approach, and many were adopted into the Chinese language randomly through sparse application of the word formation rule. This indicates well how difficult and challenging the learning of Korean loanwords is for these language learners.
In part 3, first I analysis loanword education in materials of universities in Seoul, then I propose 5 education programs of loanword education based on the difference of between Korean loanword and Chinese loanword and analysis of teaching materials. The first education program is a flexible using of Korea dictionary. The second education program is marking the Korean loanword with the derivation of the loanword. The third education program is flexible using of Korean loanword's reception method. The forth education program is a flexible using of Korean loanword and Chinese loanword reception method's difference. The firth education program is a flexible use of vocabulary chapter.
By the 5 loanword education method I hope the Chinese students have a easy Korean loanwords studying.
