This study is attempted to correct faults which can be often and easily made in the Korean language expression. The Korean language expression is an important element in the Koran language education. With the purpose of increasing the effect of Korean language education, The educational institutions and teachers have made much endeavor to teach students and have tried to apply various methods for the education. However the portion of fault in the Korean language expression is relatively high.
With this object, The main purpose of this study can be briefly outlined as follows :
First, to identify the fault in the Korean language expression by the actual inspection with the application of dictionary on the Korean language expression.
Second, to suggest the effective education methods by finding the most critical factor of fault through the analysis of problems.
In this study, It is intended to find effective education means on the correction to the expression fault through analysis of numerous actual examples with various means including the rules of Korean spelling, the standard language, foreign language and pronunciation.
The causes of fault are summarized as follows :
(1) In linguistic elements, there can be similarity and ambiguity of phoneme, meaning, the form of words, and words itself.
(2) In psychological elements, there can be a wrong supposition, a confusion in international culture and words itself, instinct of imitation and insufficiency of vocabulary.
(3) In educational elements, there can be practice of grammar and composition, principle and means of education.
(4) In social elements, there can be inversion of communication and change of attitude for the foreign language and language application with the grammar.
In order to correct those faults, It is strongly issued to have much interested in Korean language expression. Especially, the reinforcement to the school grammar, composition, phoneme, writing and lexical pronunciation have to be accomplished through Korean language education.
But, The most important point is for teachers to educate students with the scientific and effective education means. Through this study, it is suspected to be contributed to the effective education of Korean language with the basis of the understanding on the fault of Korean language expression.
