The research of this thesis was based on two different television series: Where is My Friend’s Home? And Friends over Flowers. Both are shows that related to local travelling in Korea. However, the program crew of both series are discrepant. In Where is My Friend's Home, Korean is not the first language for most of the actors. In contrast, Friends over Flowers, collects more local Korean who adopt Korean as their language since they were born. Compare the usage of discourse markers of these two different groups of people from their dialogue during all travel. Also, compare those discourse markers by function and type. In order to discover the main reason of different usage of discourse markers between native language speakers and others, counting the common point and mutually different points of those in common use of discourse markers is necessary. The is paragraphs into five paragraphs. The first paragraph indicate the purpose of the research and the discussion of literature. Also point out all the questions and solving methods among all . And the second paragraph, reorganize some theory from all times and propose the primary topic of the research. Following by the second paragraph, the emphasis of all the research subjects are located in the third paragraph. And the most important paragraph, the fourth paragraph, include the statistics of all discourse markers into 19 different types. And the further discussion and analysis of all common and diverse point. In the end, the final conclusion paragraph, record all statistics and analysis from paragraph four. And also sharing all these objective information with the education sector in Korea in order to benefit more Korean language learner.
