본 연구의 감정 동사 교육은 적재적시에 나에 대한, 타인에 대한 감정을 표현함에 있어 어려움이 없고 다양하게 표현할 수 있도록 하는 것이 목적이다.
1장에서는 연구의 필요성과 선행되어 발표된 연구를 바탕으로 ‘감정’에 대한 전반적인 논의를 살펴보았다.
2장에서는 현직 한국어 교사이면서 경력이나 자격이 있는 사람을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였다. 교육현장에서 실제 교사들이 선택한 감정 동사 교육 방법과 효과적이라고 느낀 방법을 분석하였다.
3장에서는 선행연구들이 어떤 변별기제로 감정 동사를 선별하였는지 살펴보고 기준점을 찾았다. 어휘의 추출범위는 외국인을 대상으로 하는 국내 한국어 교재 중 경희대1~6권, 서울대 1~4권, 연세대 1~6권으로 한정하였다. 다양하지 못한 교재의 어휘수를 보충하기 위해 『한국어 학습용 어휘선정 결과 보고서』에서 제시하고 있는 어휘를 추가적으로 합산하였다. 각 급수에서 어떠한 어휘가 나타나고 있는지 살펴보고 선행연구에서 논의되었던 의미 기준으로 적합한 분류 틀을 구성해보았다.
4장에서는 한국어 교재에서 감정 동사가 어떤 주제에서 어떠한 문법과 함께 나타나는지, 어떻게 가르치도록 유도하고 있는지를 살펴봤다.
5장에서는 3장, 4장의 내용을 바탕으로 의미 틀에 감정 동사를 넣어 분류해 보았다. 나뉜 어휘가 객관성을 가질 수 있는지 알아봤다.
6장에서는 2장의 설문조사에서 유의미한 결과로 나온 교육 방법을 토대로 감정 동사 교육 방안을 구성해보았다.
7장에서는 1장부터 6장까지의 내용을 정리하고 추후 연구 과제에 대해 기술하였다.

Emotional verb education presented in this study aims to express emotions towards me and others in various ways at a good time without difficulty.

Chapter 2 displays the results of survey targeting in-service Korean language teachers and those with experience or qualifications. Additionally, the emotional verb teaching methodologies chosen by in-service teachers and those considered effective in the field of education are analyzed.
Chapter 3 examines the discrimination mechanisms used in the preceding studies to select emotional verbs and suggests the ideal standard. The sources of selected vocabulary are extracted from Kyung Hee University Textbook Vol 1-6, Seoul National University Textbook Vol 1-4, and Yonsei University Textbook Vol 1-6.
In order to supplement the number of vocabularies from a narrow range of textbooks, vocabularies presented in the 『Report on Vocabulary Selection for Korean Language Learners』 are added. In addition, the types of vocabularies in each level are analyzed and a proper classification framework is organized, based on the semantic criteria discussed in the preceding studies.
Chapter 4 explores the topics and the grammar rules to appear along with emotional verbs in Korean language textbooks, and the teaching methodologies.
Chapter 5 classifies emotional verbs using a semantic framework, based on the results in Chapter 3 and 4 and verifies if the classified vocabularies can be objective.
Chapter 6 suggests emotional verb teaching methodologies, founded on the significant results of the survey in Chapter 2.
Chapter 7 summarizes the results in Chapter 1 to 6 and describes future tasks for follow-up studies.
