Along with the increasing level of globalization and diversity in the current society, it attracts numerous attentions that how to form a good impression in front of multiple groups. Furthermore, in the education field, facing with increasingly complicated background and diverse student groups, teaching staffs also pay more attentions to understand what factor plays a key role in the formation of a good impression. In this study, based on the research of “The in First Impressions of Persons” by Kelley, HH in 1950, geographical and cultural variables was added to explore whether the students' geographical and cultural difference will affect professors’ impression under the condition of the Warm-Cold Variable. Two hypotheses has been formed: A. under the condition of the Warm-Cold Variable, two different temperature regions don’t have any influence on professors’ impression; B. under the condition of the Warm-Cold Variable, two groups with different cultural background don’t affect teacher’s impression. In this study, geographical variables are Shenyang and Guangzhou in China. Cultural variables are Chinese culture which is represented by Yantai and Korean culture which is represented by Seoul. Followed by Kelley, H. H research in 1950, local university students were targeted to be surveyed by the questionnaire in four cities (described above). Four hundred and eighty valid questionnaires (120 pieces in each city) have been collected. In order to verify the accuracy of hypotheses, collected data were analyzed by the t-test analysis. Based on results of this study, initial hypotheses were not valid: A. under the condition of the Warm-Cold Variable, two different temperature regions significantly affected teacher’s impression; B. under the condition of the Warm-Cold Variable, two groups with different cultural background also extremely affected teacher’s impression. Furthermore, without the Warm-Cold Variable, there was no significant difference on teacher’s impression between these two different temperature regions. However, groups with different cultural background still had significant differences on professors’ impression. Research results indicate the geographic and cultural variables indeed influence on the impression formation under the condition of the Warm-Cold Variable. Moreover, the influence of the cultural variable is much more widespread than that of geographic variables, which could affect the impression formation with or without the condition of the Warm-Cold Variable. Therefore, these further suggest that facing with increasingly complicated background and diverse student groups, teaching staffs should timely obtain the relevant information to design strategies to form a good impression, which can form a good interaction between teaching staffs and students and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching activities. ,韩语毕业论文,韩语论文题目 |
